My husband and I were very impressed with the Library on an Open Day visit to the Society of Advocates last year and thought it would be the perfect venue to host a Murder Mystery Dinner Party we were planning for his 60th birthday. I can’t thank Maria Robertson, Executive Secretary and Librarian enough for all her help, support, suggestions and additional props on the lead up to the event and on the night itself. As the game host I was busy ensuring the game went as planned and was able to relax knowing that Maria was on hand to help - even acting as unofficial photographer to take many of the group photos. Everytime I visit the Society of Advocates it takes my breath away, it’s like a cross between a stately home and a castle, the atmosphere is upbeat due to the friendly, helpful and efficient hosting of Maria Robertson who goes the extra mile to ensure visitors receive a warm welcome and that their requirements are taken care of.
