We have always used Gas Gold to service our gas boiler and provide the certification we need as foster carers. After our 20 year old boiler broke down recently, we called Gold Gas out to repair it. This was responded to very quickly and after diagnosing the fault, and discussing the costs involved and the limited benefits it would give decided to replace the boiler. We were advised on the different options available and following our decision the replacement was booked for 2 days later. The engineers turned up spot on time and answered our questions as they worked. By mid afternoon all was done as the boiler was purring along and any mess completely cleaned up by the engineers. The difference this boiler has made is spectacular compared to the old one so we are very pleased. Gas Gold hav, as usual been exceptional throughout with good quality honest advice and no pressure upselling. The costs are competitive and their reputation as a quality company is well deserved. I had Goldstar remove a gas fire for me and can’t praise them enough for their prompt and professional job. I’ve subsequently had them back to install a vertical radiator in my new home and once again a brilliant job. PPE worn throughout plastic protection put down on my carpets and the radiator installed perfectly with the absolute minimum of disruption. Everything cleared and cleaned after the work. We were very impressed with our new boiler installation for our central heating. All the work was very clean, tidy and professional, however, we were not at all impressed with the work done in the loft. The plumbing left a lot to be desired and the place was left in a mess with rubbish everywhere and no insulation on the pipes.Thank you for your response. They had to do work in the loft to disconnect the tanks and arrange for the hot and cold to go to the bathroom. They removed the existing lagging and did not replace it when finished. They took the lagging off the tanks, removed the tanks and just left the lagging in the loft. We have since removed this ourselves and replaced lagging where necessary. More...

Best in all aspects - Never experienced this level of customer focus from any other boiler installer/service provider before. Right from really competitive quote , prompt courtesy call an hr prior to arrival on agreed installation date to completion, it was well coordinated across the teams/office. Gavin & Jance were fantastic all through going an extra mile to additionally board up the area in loft to make it safe, additional piping challenges owing to our eaves design etc by ensuring that they provide safety , customer satisfaction and esthetics intact even if it meant additional hours of work for them - they never compromised on quality! Gold Star Gas Services were asked to provide a quote to fit a new boiler for us. Once we agreed the price, and date, they arrived and fitted the boiler without any problems. The only thing I would say is that there were certain elements of the job where they went above and beyond. They encountered some technical difficulties seemed to be the outlet pipework, but instead of kicking up a fuss quickly advised us and got on with it. The whole service provided by Gold Stsr Gas Services was impressive from the first point of contact, no hard sell, and a very professional approach when discussing my boiler options. Found this company to be really helpful and friendly. Lady who took my details and talked me through what would happen was lovely - she gave me the name of the technician who would be visitng and agreed date and time. He arrived on time and gave a great price for the work (especially when compared to British Gas! - and a ten year manufacturers warranty.) Originally called these guys for a service on our existing boiler, but when they arrived and found a potentially dangerous leak, they made safe our unit, quoted for an improved replacement and booked the install in for just a couple of days time. Competitively priced with outstanding customer service from engineers and office staff alike. I’m used to clearing up after tradesmen but came home to find the area spotless and the house toasty warm again. Would definitely recommend and happy to commit to long term service plan.Cheers! Just coming up to the 1st annual service of my boiler so wanted to relay my experience with Gold Star Gas. I learnt of them through a trusted reviews site (Boiler Guide) so was comfortable they had been vetted. I wasn't let down. Polite and courteous on both the phone with the office and also the senior manager that came to supply my quote. They suggested a different boiler to the one I had been looking at and I am glad they did. Worcester boilers have a great reputation and this one was certainly put through its paces this winter as we had an extension being built at the same time - it still kept us warm. Landlord Gas Safety Testing
Landlords have a legal obligation to keep their tenant's safe. Let us look after the safety of your tenants by arranging annual visits to carry out gas safety testing on all their gas appliances.
We will contact you to let you know all is well and supply your Landlord Gas Safety Certificate
(Landlords, We carry out free gas safety testing on boiler's if we service them on the same visit!)
Radiator installations
If you decide that you would like to add radiators or even replace some of the old ones, let us do this for you! We can replace any amount or add to your existing system
We will balance all radiators before leaving ensuring they heat up evenly
Break down/faulty boiler's
Often, we are able to solve the issue with telephone support if you are an existing customer. If not, we will arrange a visit when it is convenient to you and only charge you for one visit if we have to return to fit new parts
If your boiler is still under warranty, we will contact your manufacturer on your behalf and organise a visit. (Existing customers)
Fire services
It is just as important that you keep your gas fire serviced annually as it is your boiler.
One of our team will contact you annually to advise you when the service is due.

Pipework
Sometimes, old pipes which are buried under concrete floors corrode over time and leaks cause your boiler to fail or loose pressure until they are found. If you think you may have a leak, contact us to find the leak and replace the pipework.
Room stats/timers
It can get quite confusing to get the programming just right and the time you want your central heating to come on or off.
We can supply and install a range of room stats - wireless or wired, programmable or not.
From a straight forward thermostatic room control to a SMART stat using an app from your phone!
