Global Green Builds

Steve Crawley is not a builder, he is a roofer but after having his work assessed, a professional roofer told me "he knows what he is doing but he can't be bothered". The company who provided the material for the roof wrote a damning report of his job after inspection. This is only about the roof, something he should know. As for the building work, where do I start: Steve Crawley has no building skills, no time management skills, no stock management skills, no staff management skills. He is just not a professional at all, he is a big spender and wastes a lot of time due to his lack of management. When you get frustrated with him, he becomes aggressive and is a bully. He ends work at 2pm just so he can avoid traffic back to Braintree where he lives, this is an excellent clue to his lack of professionalism and conscience. But I've seen Steve lean against a wall of breeze blocks after just building it! and the wall moved of course.
Steve Crawley cannot read an architect's plan and doesn't understand designs. On several occasion, he went against my will: he refused to use aluminium to cover the parapets claiming "I prefer lead". What company owner behaves like this??? The truth is that Steve is just incapable but has some experience with lead, hence the "Oi prefer lead". Steve Crawley refused to add a channel drain to my patio because "I'm not spending that money on it, Cath", when I had already given him the budget (see the bully?) and finally Steve Crawley installed green wood beams and boards on my floor when I had asked (and he had budgeted) for concrete block & beams. On several occasions, Steve Crawley also sabotaged the building, like shaving the patio's render to make it flush with the tiles because he had not used a channel drain. The brick layer was disgusted by Steve Crawley's attitude, crying "My render, my render, it's bellied, it'll pop soon", which it did of course. His team complained to me several times about his attitude and lack of management skills. I could go on in details about the unscrupulous attitude of Steve Crawley of Global Green Builds (there is absolutely nothing green about this company and Steve is completely ignorant on the subject) but I think I have said enough for now to convince anyone not to hire him.
I took legal action against Steve Crawley of Braintree and need to wait until his son is 18 to be able to force him to sell his house and claim what is owed to me. He claims he did not have an insurance at the time of the build although he told me he had one when we signed the (fraudulent) contract.
The project happened in 2019, photos are from end of 2019, just few months after he left the site, unfinished (of course!).
He is a bully and will tell you that my review is slander but there is no "false claim being made public" (definition of slander), this is my personal review based on my personal and real experience with Steve Crawley. More...
