My wife and I had a conservatory/garden room which required bringing into the 21st Century. Our brief to Bond Interiors was to create a room which was cool in the summer and warm in the winter, in which we could relax in a comfortable environment. The outcome was spectacular, a timeless design, not the current trend, but a room full of harmony and special touches.At each stage we were consulted in the process, and on many occasions we didnt agree with design and colour choices only to be convinced we should wait for the finished article -- thank god we did - the result as I said before was spectacular.My personal highlight was George convincing us to have our 3 oil paintings reframed and him then spending 3 hours to make sure they were correctly hung both in relation to the room but the other paintings.The whole process was enjoyable and Bond Interiors attention to detail has been superb.A definite 11 out of 10. I was fortunate to spend a lovely afternoon with George because he was one of the very first people to step forward to support The North East Enterprise Trust's exciting Art for Enterprise Community initiative. He's a thoroughly lovely gentleman who has become a truly inspirational friend and somebody I would never hesitate to recommend.

My original brief was to modernise a neglected and traditionally decorated apartment and to completely refurbish in a contemporary but simple style. The work had to be undertaken in a way that was sensitive to the neighbours in a close-knit community of apartments.Throughout the design and refurbishment, I got the confidence from George and Ray that they understood my requirements. I asked George Bond if he would interior design the new property (salon) as it was in such a mess when we got it. He then introduced me to his Partner Ray Watkins and together they ascertained my needs in a very supportive yet constructive way. What they wanted was for when people came into the salon was the "wow" factor and Oh my God they certainly delivered. The salon is sleek, chic and unique and my clients were certainly wowed when they entered the salon. I can highly recommend George and Ray the salon is certainly very stylish, but most importantly they offered their expertise whilst always focusing on what we wanted. For over 30 years George Bond has been the main inspiration for all of my interior design projects. I've been delighted with every single choice he has suggested for our home. Many schemes have successfully lasted for decades and still look wonderful. His sensitive use of colour and texture is superb. George listens – then suggests. His wallpapers and fabrics are of exceptional quality, leaving me so satisfied that I rarely want to change them, and are also original, elegant and totally appropriate for each room. George and Ray were tasked with project managing our extension and loft conversion. This involved merging our current kitchen living room and conservatory into one large living area/kitchen. Their designs were excellent and the attention to detail provided has ultimately given us a great looking new family area and a sizable new en-suite bedroom. The work undertaken has been of the highest standard and they were always on hand through the difficult building process to make sure everything was as it should be.
