I got a call the day before to advise me they will be coming to install my boiler, first thing in the morning I get a knock on the door and it’s one of the fitters. 9 hours later after working tirelessly, my brand new boiler was installed and everything checked thoroughly. Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, it is the Landlords responsibility to ensure that gas appliances, pipework, fittings & chimney flues are safe within a rental property. Therefore it is important that as a Landlord that you have an annual gas safety check carried out by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer who will provide you with a gas safety certificate otherwise known as a CP12.
Our qualified Gas Safe registered engineers have extensive experience in this area and are able to carry out a comprehensive safety test on all the gas appliances within your rental property to ensure that they are safe to use. Once the gas safety check has been completed you will instantly receive a copy of the gas safety certificate. In addition this, our customer care team can assist you in organising the gas safety check by liaising with the tenants directly, saving you time!
