I found Richard difficult to get on with. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. Despite asking him several times to trim box hedge he repeatedly said it could wait - now I find out that trimming it so late in season could damage it (i. e. introduce fungal spores) - why didn't he know this? He hung up on me when I rang him (how unprofessional!) so I messaged him not to return. I most definitely do not recommend - avoid, avoid, avoid!! More...
What do you love most about your job?
Helping to shape 'The Great Outdoors' is a very rewarding job and working with customers and the Gardening Staffs Team to transform landscapes is a fantastic way to earn a living. Every member of the team is dedicated to training to the highest possible standard to meet the needs of the customers garden or outdoor space. We love our job and are passionate about our motto 'your garden is our garden'
What inspired you to start your own business?
Personally, I have always had a passion for the outdoors and gardening from a very early age, helping my grandad out in his garden, to working for a professional gardener in my early working life before training to become a teacher with over 20 years exoerience. Having worked in the education sector and overseen many children, staff and contractors, I felt that there was a real need to offer a gardening service to households and businesses that offered a reliable quality service to meet the needs of the customer.
