Limited Company Statutory Accounts
By Law, all Limited Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships must submit Annual Accounts, prepared to the correct accounting standards, to both Companies House and HMRC.
Gaffney Accounting can prepare and submit your accounts on your behalf and advise you on the best format for you, in keeping with all current legal requirements.
Director Self Assessment Tax Return
If you are a Company Director, by definition you have better things to do than worry about filling in your Tax Return! If you are a small firm you may not have an in-house accountant to deal with it. If you are a Director of a larger company you may prefer the privacy of having your Tax Return completed and filed independently.

Sole Trader Self Assessments
If you are self-employed, we can guarantee you will be too busy to worry about filling in your self-assessment form when it’s due! Besides, who but an accountant can be bothered to work out all those codes that HMRC throw at you? And what expenses can you legally claim for?
As a Sole Trader you need to look after your business: you have enough paperwork as it is without worrying about your Tax Return.

CIS Tax Returns
If you work as a subcontractor under the Construction Industry Scheme you will have to be registered with HMRC and will contractors will automatically deduct tax from your payments as up front payments against your eventual tax and National Insurance contributions. But you will still need to submit the relevant Self-Assessment form to HMRC and submit any outstanding payments due or claim back any over-payment. You will also need to decide whether you qualify for gross payment status. Don’t panic! Gaffney Accounting can help. We can fill in and file your return for you, letting you know your liabilities and more importantly claiming back any money you are owed!
