This is seriously the best restaurant in brixham, everything was bob on, and to impress my mum which is tough, she hasn't said a word of critique, thank you all at Beamers, also it was my 50th and it was a special meal to end the day, keep up the good work, may be back in brixham sooner than i thought

My wife and i have recently moved to the area amd this was our second visit to Beamers.
Service is always excellent from the initial phone call to book a table right through to leaving the restaurant.
Atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing and the views (if fortunate to get a table by a window) are amazing!!
Food here is excellent from the presentation of the dishes, and if first impressions last are anything to go by.....then your in for a culinary treat!!

Well presented and flavoursome lemon sole for myself, monkfish, mushroom stroganoff , chicken nuggets and a lovely sized bit of fish for the children. The veg was a nice array and well flavoured. Chips were not the best flavoured or cooked as i have had. But this is not the reason for the four stars. My main disapointment, was the cheap rioja whuch was over priced. I can buy in a supermarket for 8.99 or less and they were serving at well over 100% profit .....not what customers want! This was served at approx 8c and should be served at 14c. Over priced for a numb flavoured wine which was spoiled by the temperature. However a pleasant experience and would return but will not purchase wine unless things change. More...

Been here twice, each time I've ordered the seafood. All the food is beautifully done, from start to finish! Fresh natural seafood flavours not overpowered by the amazing sauces. Even the bread is scrumptious, as well as dessert. Lovely ambience and nice service. Bit of a wait for the food and it's pricey, but I'd say it's worth it for the quality. More...

This is the no1 fish & chips in the UK
Reasons why well my family have had fish and chip shop's also as brixham has day fishermen not out at weeks at a time like Grimsby.
So they are 100% fresh fish plus if you ask like I have,can I have a dry white wine garlic cream sauce with my fish they will do it the only other contender is in saint Ives in Cornwall
