Wayne of Freestyle Friday did an outstanding job of DJing at our wedding. He really listened to our requirements. There was music to suit the tastes of all our guests from the tango dancers to the jivers, the nightclubbers, the young and the older generation. The dance floor was never empty.
What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Talk to the organiser before the event to discover the music tastes of the attendees.
Watch both the floor and the room - are feet tapping and are people miming along?
Then keep the music flowing in waves of energy and themes.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Eclectic, selective.
Prefer to let the music do the talking and keep off the mic during the night.
MC only when it's time to announce something important.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing people smile and joining in on the dance floor - as a group, solo or couples.
Also working with couples for their 1st dance routine. It's a joy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I took up dancing 20 years ago and realised I wanted to play music for others.
Out of the two DJs in the team one of us dances and the other plays guitar - we both love a wide selection of music styles.
Why should our clients choose you?
I listen to what you want and don't impose my preferences on you. But I'm not a juke box, I will advise if I think some of the requests don't fit - or are too samey. There are millions of tracks you can choose from - you can't have it all in a few hours.
Between the 2 DJs we have our music libraries extend to over 40,000 tracks and if we don't have it and you tell us that it's a must play for the night we will get it.
We have hosted private dance parties, and played at many weddings and family parties big and small. DJing for modern dance weekenders and big dance festivals in UK and USA. Also at intimate cafe/club dance night events in UK, Greece, USA - blues, rock, soul, pop, electro, tango and jive.

I have a 100 user zoom licence and hosted a number of private Zoom parties with attendees from America, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Germany and the UK. I have also linked to a 3 DJ multi room Zoom party.
But there's nothing like being in the same room.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Closed during Covid. Re-opened last summer with LF tests.
Now, we use no measures other than cleanliness and do not perform if unwell. A substitute is used.

Just about all music genres and eras - we have two DJs and a variety of sound systems, we can tailor for large and small venues. Music libraries from 1930 - 2022.
Weddings, Family celebrations, Birthdays, Corporate, and other occasions and events.

First dance - course for wedding: Can help with jive / tango lessons, music choice and choreography
Also party ice breaker intro Group lessons in Argentine Tango, Modern Jive or Fusion styles.
Or standard 1-1 courses intro to Jive or Argentine Tango.
Singer guitar player
Excellent for familiar sing along sessions or background accompaniment for social gatherings between DJ sets.
