Would highly recommend Forward in Reverse as a wedding videographer.
We have just received our wedding video back and it was beautiful.
Mel captured so many things on the day that I did not see on the day so was lovely to watch back.

We were lucky enough to win a traditional wedding video with Forward in Reverse and I'm so pleased we did! I would really recommend every bride to be to factor it into their budget, because when all the planning is over and the big day comes and goes, the only thing left is the video/photos! I found the video actually caught more of our special day than the photos did. The things like the grooms party getting ready, the nerves of my husband to be waiting at the end of the aisle, the tears, the laughter, the venue being set up, the guests arriving, the bits I forgot about in the speeches, the nervous yet wonderful first dance as a married couple ... The list just goes on and on. Moments that you just can't capture in a still photograph and you have them to show your children and your grandchildren in years to come! Watching it back you can relive the best day of your life over and over. We cannot thank Mel enough for her hard work. We are over the moon with the end result. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Telling a story, capturing emotion, keeping things natural and relaxed! Each individual still or moving imagery tells it's own story.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
An idea of what you would like, I may ask you to provide me with a pinterest board to show me the styles you are interested in and examples of any work you have seen, depending on the type of photography/ film you want made of course.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being on shoots, on location, dealing with people and I'm known to put the most camera-shy people at ease!
Being involved with weddings means I need to be very organised to ensure I capture the day in the best possible way with not a minute to lose.
Working on commercial projects, I am articulate and well mannered working good as part of a team or leading a production.
In contradiction , when editing, I am working well on my own at home, with a nice cup of tea!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I re-trained myself through university and graduated in 2012. I now have a degree in film-making and I'm a professional photographer! Wow! Did I just say that?! It was a l-ooong time coming and I'm so super proud of myself and my achievements having followed a life long dream to be a professional film-maker/photographer. I have had to work really hard to where I have got and I love my Company and seeing it go from strength to strength and working on interesting and inspiring projects.
