After a decade of working in the City, I decided to pursue my passion for nutrition and enrolled at the College of Naturopathic Medicine to study Nutritional Therapy. During this time, I found that the inequalities women face in the workplace are made worse around menopause kicks in. This was when I found my calling and founded Forty Plus Nutrition. I wanted to share my knowledge with the world on how using natural evidence-based methods, we can manage perimenopausal symptoms.

There is so much conflicting information on what a healthy diet is and the food industry places so much pressure on the government, making it hard for them to give sound advice.

GPs struggle to give you the time to listen to what you are saying. Working with me, we spend 90 minutes talking about all about you, I take a detailed look at all of your bodily systems, not just your hormones, to find underly causes. We then talk weekly for up to 5 or 11 weeks depending on your package, slowly implementing changes, until they become natural.

I offer functional testing (see my blog for more information on this), share a recipe book that will be specific to your plan and review your food diary every week.

Unlike other nutritionists, I find that one or two consultations are never enough to implement long-term changes. Forming new habits takes time and having a nutritionist on hand to keep you accountable means the changes are more likely to stick.
