The best thing as well as the floors is the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed but you know work is going on.Each and everyone I spoke to today (Mon 18-03-19) couldn't have been more helpful it was a joy to be shown the products and now the difficult task to choose. I dealt mainly with Molly today who certainly knew her stuff and previously on another occasion with Katherine who was also very knowledgeable and helpful too.Now ... I had 3 different types of tile from Floors of Stone for my recent extension and refurbishment. The products are great, and so was the service from Floors of Stone! We didn't have any damaged tiles, although we had been made fully aware of how we'd get replacements if there were any damages in plenty of time before delivery. We were also given good advice by the staff, both when selecting which tiles would suit our needs, and with regards to protection/cleaning once installed.We actually realised part way through the work that we'd be 2 boxes of tiles short, and Floors of Stone were very accommodating in getting the additional boxes delivered within 1-2 days so there was no impact to the builders.Finally, their show room is well worth a visit if you get chance - even if it's just for a cup of tea from the tearoom and walk around the gardens! Having used floors of stone for a number of years now I have never been dissapointed. We've used Floors of Stone's materials throughout our house, absolutely fantastic products. We used their marbles for our bathrooms and porcelain throughout our ground floor, very impressed and would highly recommend. Our only downside is the delivery company they use: the pallets have never been damaged but the delivery drivers have been rude and rushed. We are expected to check the pallet on delivery and had one driver not allow us to do so stating he was late and had to do his next drop. More...

We've recently installed Floors of Stone Worn Grey Limescale tiles in our new kitchen diner and patio and couldn't be happier! The tiles look as though they've been there for ever (in a good way!) - plus work really well with our new underfloor heating, despite being so thick. From looking at their website or going into their showroom you'd think FoS would be really expensive - but when we told our builder how much they cost he couldn't believe how reasonable they were! I ordered sooooo many samples and eventually settled on Dijon Brushed Limestone which I love. All my samples from FOS came very quickly and the ordering process was very smooth, even when I needed to change the quantity. The delivery was efficient, the stone was all perfect and felt high quality - it seemed a shame to get rid of the few tiles I had leftover. As a former employee of Floors of Stone, I knew that the ordering process would be simple and efficient and the staff would be friendly, which they all were - the biggest difficulty I had was deciding which stone would work for me, as there is so much choice! When the tiles arrived they were impeccably wrapped and strapped - but I ripped all of that off so I could check the tiles before signing for them - they were really well packed and they arrived with me in perfect condition. We are very pleased that our sister company Floors of Stone is now also based at Cotes Mill with deVOL Kitchens. Customers can once again browse flooring and kitchens in the same place at this historic water mill in Leicestershire. As a small family building firm we have used Floors of Stone for a number of years to fit out our high end kitchen/living spaces. There staff are knowledgeable and friendly as well as their prices being some of the most competitive we have found.We recently had an issue with twi batches of travertine tiles not being a good colour match, and having already laid one batch we were in a tricky situation.
