Spoke to Simon and arranged for him to come on Sunday to fit wardrobes and boiler cupboard.
I called and messaged him on Saturday to confirm he was still coming so I could get the rooms ready for him to work in.
Got everything ready for him (cleared out the rooms and put the flat packs in the relevant rooms for ease) and wasted my weekend but no response from him.
Did not turn up Sunday as agreed but messaged me to say he will reschedule for next week. Then offered come on Wednesday. I messaged back to say I have found someone else.
That’s when he got nasty. He said I have to pay him a cancellation fee if I don’t re-book. Also said “the business is closed” at weekends so he does not check his messages which is silly as he was booked to do my job at the weekend.
He may be good at what he does (I will never know) but his attitude stinks!! More...

Poor service. Want full pay before the delivery of the service just because he thinks the customer may not show up. I offered to pay £50. 00 upfront for the troubles if i did not show up but that was not enough. Be careful when dealing with this guy. More...

Booked in for 3+ weeks, spoke on the phone and via text, agreed price all great and easy then cancelled on the day saying unwell. Gave him the benefit of the doubt, was sympathetic and asked when we could rearrange. No reply to text or phone call. Since have seen posts on here about work completed the day after. Not professional at all and now I will need to wait another 3+ weeks to schedule in with someone else whilst I have boxes of flat pack whilst have a toddler running around. AVOID. More...

I have used Simon a few times to build furniture in my beauty school . He is reliable and comes in and gets on with the job with little to disruption which suits me perfectly ! !
