Having moved back to cornwall last year I signed up with keith and fitness wild. I was feeling very underconfident and out of shape. I really wanted to be able to run and feel stronger and keith and team helped me with this. They also helped my confidence. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. I really enjoyed working out here. The atmosphere is great, everyone is really friendly and I actually enjoyed training! They were really encouraging and I was able to see results after a short period of time, plus the views make it feel like you aren’t even at the gym! More...

I found and started training with Fitness Wild back in 2016. I'm not a weight-lifter or an ultra-athelete - but these guys have taken on my personal goals and aging body (! ) and got me achieving far more than I ever thought possible. You could not get a better location for training at Argal and Gylly. I have witnessed this team grow and evolve over the last three years and help so many people in so many ways. AMAZING!! Keith is just AMAZING!! I just recently joined the fitness wild ship and already Keith and his wealth of knowledge have transformed my world. As someone who has always done the same thing cardio over and over to then be plagued by a massive injury and out of the game for over 6 months and at a complete loss, I have my mojo back having only done 3 sessions with Keith what he has taught me and the way he trains you is just invaluable. I contacted Keith 7 months ago for PT sessions. My fitness levels were very poor and I can honestly say I never really enjoyed any form of exercise, but having heart disease in my family I was determined to try and get fit and strong. I didn’t have a lot of confidence in my ability to train as I know I can be very lazy if not pushed. I began having PT sessions twice a week for a month with Keith, and he explained everything to me each time we met and why we were doing what we were doing. He’s extremely knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions I had. The sessions were really hard but after each one I would go away feeling amazing! I then went to once a week PT and joined a Fitness Wild workshop once a week. Keith and Tanya have been amazing! They’ve given me so much encouragement and have been so patient! They are both so genuine and down to earth, they make you feel comfortable straight away, which really helped me to feel more confident. I then joined their online program in February and that really made a difference to my energy levels. Doing a HIIT workout every morning and following the amazing nutritional plan has given me so much more energy throughout the day. I’ve never met any of the people on the program, but I feel like I know them, as they are so wonderful and supportive. All your questions are answered straight away and there is so much support from Keith, Tanya and Gemma and all the other people who are in the program. I’ve been so inspired by the recipes that people post that I’ve become way more creative with my meals. I now get really excited about making each meal and the more colourful I can make it the better I feel From being someone who didn’t enjoy exercise, I am now totally hooked because I’ve experienced amazing results. I feel so much healthier and stronger and I have so much more energy and confidence. Joining Fitness Wild has exceeded my expectations! I never would have thought I could actually enjoy working out! Having been to Keith at Helston Fitness Wild for around a year now, I’ve enjoyed every session, the knowledge is beyond a standard personal trainer, I’ve gained confidence after an injury with Keith’s patience and encouragement and he even researched videos and exercises that were specifically to assist with my particular needs in his own time. If any one is thinking about it, he identified my issues immediately and started to help me put them right, Pain has stopped and muscle strength is building. Fitness Wild - Helston you ROCK! I came to Cornwall for a hoilday, it was really important to me to find a gym so I could carry on training. More for stress reasons than for fitness. I was told about Fitness Wild and thought I would try them out. Both trainers Keith and Tanya made me feel very welcome and made sure I was ok with every exercise also giving me tips how to do the exercise better. I signed up with Keith of Fitness Wild a few weeks ago. Naturally a sporty person I’ve had to endure 6 operations over 5 years. ..several to my hips and several to my knees. I’ve currently got a slipped disc in my back and my Physio has given me 3 months to try and rectify it through exercise otherwise I’ve got to go down the operation route again. I contacted Keith for help and I have to say it’s the best thing I could ever have done. I’ve now had 5 sessions with Keith/ Francis and I have to say I’m loving it! I didn’t think I could ever do exercise again or feel the thrill it gives you. I genuinely feel fitter, stronger, more toned and most importantly happier! I would really recommend joining up. Keith began running the class at Mawgan Park in October 2016 and I’ve been attending every Friday since, and I absolutely love it. Tanya took over the class last spring and she brought a whole new dimension to the sessions. Each class is different so you never know which part of your body will hurt over the weekend, but you can be assured that you will feel great. Tanya is incredibly encouraging and pretty inspirational. I’ve always attended group fitness classes in gyms and enjoyed them but since moving to Cornwall and having children there is nothing like being outside and working out hard. It feels exhilarating, even when contending with below-zero sideways rain. I couldn’t recommend Fitness Wild highly enough and would recommend them to absolutely everyone, whatever the fitness goal. I had to stop running over 5 years ago due to a damaged muscle in my leg that caused back problems to. After many attempts of going back to the gym and trying to get fit on my own, I would end up injured again. I started with Keith and the team last summer, firstly doing personal training sessions and then joining the group sessions. I have now just finished 6 weeks of the morning kick start programme. From day one, I've not had the niggling injuries, that I normally would have got after exercise. I didn't even need to tell the team what was wrong, they knew by just the way I stood and tailored every session to my abilities. I joined Fitness Wild in September 2017 after attending a 'meet the team' at a barbers in Helston. My aim was to get fitter, tone up, lose some weight and start running again. Keith drew up a weights plan for me which varied week to week. I attended -and still attend- Monday and Friday's for an hour on a one to one personal training class. Over the year I have lost a stone and its kept pretty static, my body shape has changed dramatically and I personally feel so much better. I can fit into clothes that wouldn't fit before. My whole body strength has improved and I managed to 'keep going' on the fitness thing, whereas in the past I would join a gym, go for a few weeks and then give up. Keith has taught me how to lift weights correctly and got me running. I try to fit in Park Runs on a regular basis. Fitness Wild also does hourly classes which I have also attended when unable to fit in Mondays or Fridays. Overall its a great way of keeping fit, you are not stuck in a gym and you get out in the open (unless it raining)- hence Fitness Wild. More...

Hi. I’m Arabella, a 58 - year old woman living on the Lizard peninsula. In June of this year, I approached Keith to ask whether he’d consider taking me on as a rehabilitation project. I wasn’t certain what could be done, or whether what I was asking was possible. My needs were complex. I’d had many years of Autoimmune Thyroid problems, culminating in wasted muscle and severely compromised joints. My Autoimmune condition is now naturally managed, and has been in remission for almost three years, and In February this year, I had total, and unicompartmental (partial) knee replacements. I consequently really needed to relearn how to move correctly, improve posture and flexibility, and rebuild muscle and strength that had been absent for many years. A tall order indeed. Keith started by fully assessing my stance, the way I moved, and took in to consideration the recovery of the operations that had been done 4 months earlier. We had to start very slowly. Keith was extremely patient and most importantly, ensured that all the exercises were done with me being in the correct position, in order to build muscle and strength to avoid injury. After a short while, I also started training with Francis, a colleague of Keith’s, and between them they concentrated on upper and lower body strength, thus enabling me to move on to full body exercise. It’s now December, 6 months since I stared with Fitness Wild. To say that I’m totally amazed is an understatement. The range of movement that I’ve regained, the muscle rebuilt and the improved strength and stamina combined are more than I’d ever thought I’d be able to achieve again. So much more than I’d expected and I’m just thrilled at being able to enjoy moving freely without pain and discomfort, walking good, long distances, and easily accessing the outdoors again. I can’t rate Keith and Francis at Fitness Wild highly enough. They’ve been professional, thorough, explained in easy lay terms what needed to be done, and at the same time relaxed and easy to get on with. The rate of improvement and ability is more that I’d ever thought to be able to achieve, and I’m so incredibly grateful to them. Five star all the way from me. I started training with Keith 7 weeks ago to help improve my running. As a complete newbie it was rather daunting; however keith is so positive, encouraging and motivating ( without shouting! ) that it's been a fantastic experience! Together we have looked at all the little niggles and problems I've had running and gradually started putting them all right! I'm feeling fitter and stronger now than I've ever been, and thoroughly enjoying each phase of training; I work hard, I'm sore after but I keep going back for more... oh and I laugh.. a lot! I'm still no expert but I'm definitely beginning to understand how my body works and how to improve it! I'm A single mum with three young children and certainly no gym bunny(!) but I can't recommend keith highly enough... and I'm really excited about the future!� More...

Thoroughly enjoy Keith's bootcamp sessions. All workouts are tailored to your ability, and each session if different from the last, with particular attention to ensuring your technique is correct. I have been having personal training with Keith now for around 4 or 5 months. I play a decent standard of rugby and thought I needed to do more training off the field, so I approached Keith and it was defiantly the best thing I could of done. Keith's knowledge is absolute first class, he based my program purely around my position in rugby which is exactly what I needed. I have seen such a difference in my strength and fitness on and off the field and I have only been working with Keith for a short time so looking forward to what the next 6 months bring. I was coached by Keith for over a year when I was playing for The Cornish Pirates. He's a brilliant, fun guy in and out of the gym. He knows his stuff and he knows how to get the best out of his clients. He's worked really hard to build up the knowledge and experience he has and he still works really hard everyday to help his clients achieve their goals and improve himself as a conditioner. He doesn't give you the usual PT bullshit, he knows his stuff and he knows what works. You've only got to look at his CV. Fitness Wild sounds great and I know the hard work behind the scenes that's gone into creating such a good business and I love the concept and where he's taking it. I'll definitely be working with Keith when I'm next back down in Cornwall. If you want a hard working, efficient, knowledgable Conditioner, that hasn't been made in a classroom but has real world experience, I'd recommend Keith 100%. More...

I was thrilled with Fitness Wild - Helston and Keith's training. I had set myself a challenge of going up Kilimanjaro with some family 16 months previous. I had extensive surgery on my ankle three days after I agreed to the trip, I preparing for climbing a mountain was a good reason to get fit after the surgery...madness! However, I struggled with motivation and having any get up and go. 9 weeks before I left for my trip I started to panic so I contacted Keith, explained the situation, the surgery and what I needed to achieve. Keith got me on a specific diet, had me training two mornings a week and was brilliant with making sure my ankle was in good condition and holding up okay. He tailored the training to me and my needs, made sure I kept up with hit work outs, emailed me diet tips, links to recipes and was fantastic. My posture has been corrected, which in turn has helped out my back and shoulder issues. I never thought I'd be able to lift weights, do squats, or press ups but it turns out I can all with Keith's knowledge and experience. Keith is supportive, encouraging and motivating. If I had used a personal trainer who yelled and was drill sergeant like, I wouldn't have been able to do it, but Keith was patient and encouraging which made me want to do better. 9 weeks later I made it to the top of Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the largest free standing mountain in the world. I can hand on heart say that I would not have done it with out Keith and Fitness Wild. I have never felt as good as I do at the moment, and once I have recovered from my trip I will DEFINITELY be continuing with the sessions. Thank you for everything. After a few friends of mine reccomended Fitness Wild, I decided to give it a go. I am an absolute beginner to strength training so really needed to start from scratch. Keith has been amazing so far....from correcting my posture to helping me recognise my strengths, know my weaknesses and give me a tun of encouragement! I feel totally comfortable training with Keith and would highly recommend him to both beginners and the more experienced! He has a wealth of knowledge that he's willing to share. Absolutely amazing! Keith Jacka has been an employee of mine for over 3 years. As Keith's employer, I can verify that he is indeed an extremely able sports coach.
