First in Mortgages

If you need any type of mortgage/life insurance, First in mortgages are the people to go through. I’ve used a number of financial advisors over the years, and have found it difficult to put trust in them. Marc at First in mortgages is the total opposite, upon our first meeting he came across very genuine with no hidden agenda. He sat down with us explained what products best match our needs and found really competitive ones as well. Being a sceptic at first I decided to do my own research and did find something cheaper, when I mentioned this to Marc he explained although at face value it was cheap there were hidden fees and stricter criteria which they failed to mention - if I had progressed down this route it would have wasted my time/money and possibly affected my credit rating (even risk property sale falling through).I found First in Mortgages particularly useful keeping me upto date with the process. Rather than simply submit a application like most Financial Advisors do and letting them run their standard course of being processed, Marc continue to chase every step of the way to speed up the process. At no point did I feel left out the loop or nervous in anyway due to lack of updates. Excellent service from Marc when remortgaging our home. We stumbled across some difficulties (due to personal circumstances and changes since taking out the mortgage) but nothing was too much trouble for Marc to sort out. He was easily contactable (all the time!) and sorted us the best rate for our circumstances. He was very flexible which was so helpful as I have just had a baby. As first time buyers getting a mortgage can be a very stressful time. Trying to determine the best rate and terms, or deciding who has the best offer, is a real challenge. We did our homework, but as first time buyers it was a daunting and overwhelming task until we got in contact with Marc who is a Professional at First in Mortgages and was very thorough when providing us with information.
