I spent 16 years in large listed and venture capital backed businesses heading up large finance teams and know the value that can be delivered by commercially savvy finance professionals. From running efficient finance processes, building teams to acquiring and selling businesses as well as delivering one of the largest FTSE 100 listings in the last decade I have seen it all. The importance of this experience is often overlooked by SMEs with finance activity being seen as a necessary evil. I am a Finance & Commercial Director with over 16 years experience in global FTSE 100, Nikkei 225 listed and Venture Capital backed businesses. Proven track record of delivering large scale finance and operational transformation projects across the UK, Europe and Asia. I was a key member of the senior team responsible for delivering the largest LSE IPO of 2015 with Worldpay and the youngest UK board member in the history of NSG Pilkington.  Before establishing Firefly Finance Solutions, John worked closely with KPMG and Deloitte deal advisory teams on a number of restructuring projects across the UK.

I love working closely with business owners and building relationships is critical to success. We are different because we really are interested in the clients ambitions and aspirations and we tailor our solutions to add the most value possible. Yes we do all of the stuff a traditional accountancy firm does but we do so much more. We want to be a part of the clients business not just a faceless accountant they hear from once or twice a year around key statutory deadlines.
