We absolutely love Charlie and her talents in photography so much so that not only did she capture our wedding day memories she also photographed our beautiful little girl who was only 2 weeks old. We received our photo disc today from our recent mini session at Jungle Adventure and I am blow away!! Every imagine is fantastic and so natural.
Charlie is amazing!! she had my son laughing and giggling from the get go, and got some great shots of my 7 month old who refused to stay still :) she even managed to get both my son and daughter looking at the camera at the same time (which trust me is no easy task).
All in 20 minutes!!!
I would highly recommend Farlie Photography, we will treasure these photos for years to come and can't wait to see you again soon.

We absolutely adore our pictures from Charlie. She has managed to capture some wonderful images of us as a young family, my son's birthday, my pregnancy and of course little Margot at 10 days new.
Charlie has always made us feel comfortable and at ease. It's such a personal service and we have always felt that she goes the 'extra mile'.

I had photos taken of my daughter Lyra when she was a week old. I cannot praise Charlie highly enough for every single aspect of our experience, from booking, to the session, to the photos and aftercare we received.

Booking was simple and straightforward, with Charlie answering all our questions quickly.

On the day itself, we (being new, seriously sleep-deprived parents!) arrived at Charlie's a little late but were greeted so warmly and made to feel completely comfortable and relaxed (even when Lyra pooed and peed her way through several blankets!). Being a parent herself, Charlie knows all the things that are tough in those early days and solved it all with a comfortable place to feed, plus tea and biscuits!

The photos themselves are simply gorgeous. I know we're biased but she captured our little girl so beautifully. Plus Charlie humoured my request for a particular shot I wanted :) the prints and canvas we ordered are of the highest quality and the disc and USB stick have been very useful for printing additional shots for family and friends.

We LOVE our photos and we had the best time at both our shoots! Had the bump-to-baby package and so incredibly pleased with the result! Charlie is amazing at what she does, such a personal touch and she made us all feel so comfortable and at ease on both occasions.

And to not even mention the photos!! It's more than just amazing, every time I look at the photos of our beautiful little family and our gorgeous little girl and baby boy I'm so grateful that we could capture moments like these, moments of joy and laughter, intimacy and closeness, love and peace and family fun and newborn purity!

Charlie and her photography are just amazing! She captures moments and visions and creates memories in an instant. Charlie was our wedding photographer and her kind nature made us, and our guests, feel so relaxed on the day. We had a newborn shoot with Farlie Photography when our little girl was 9 days old. Charlie created such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and did not rush us meaning that baby was settled and happy resulting in the most beautiful pictures. Absolutely amazing service from start to finish for our wedding. Charlie makes you feel comfortable and relaxed (and I am certainly not relaxed when it comes to having my picture taken). Charlie is there for you every step of the way and always happy to answer any questions you might have not matter how silly you think they are. On our wedding day Charlie was brilliant at directing small groups of people who needed to be in the pics to all the mass guests for those amazing full pictures. She was in the back ground capturing those precious memories that no one ever seems to think about but wish they had got them. It was an absolute joy to have Charlie photographing our wedding day! She was exceptionally organised in the lead up to the day, and always quick to respond to emails. Charlie knew exactly what questions to ask us and how to reassure us when we were feeling out of our depth with wedding planning. On the day itself it was so lovely to have Charlie with us. Charlie did a newborn photo session for our daughter and we cannot recommended her highly enough. Not only are we delighted with the photos but the whole experience was perfect. Charlie made us feel so welcome (with tea and cakes!). She was very laid back and created the perfect setting to maximise the sleeping time (and hence photo opportunities) for our newborn. She soothed our baby perfectly - it was plainly obvious that she had personal experience of handling young babies. Charlie has recently taken some photos of our 8 day old baby boy in our home. After having an emergency c section , a home shoot was ideal. It was much more relaxing than a studio environment and the photos are more natural. Can not thank Charlie enough for capturing such beautiful photos of our newborn, the whole experience from the first enquiry to the actual day of the shoot has been amazing. Charlie made us feel so welcome at her home and it literally felt like we was visiting a friends house, she even managed to fit in us bringing back our elder 2 children so they could have some photos with their new baby brother and again Charlie was so patient with them and made them feel involved. Where can we start with explaining how amazing Charlie is?! From the very first time we met her, we knew that she was the photographer that we wanted to capture our wedding day. She reassured us about the running of the day, suggested different places that we could have pictures taken and generally put us at total ease. Our engagement shoot at Clacton Pier was relaxed and fun, mainly down to the fact that Charlie is so lovely that it felt like it was our friend taking pictures of us.

On the wedding day, Charlie blended into the running of the day and the photos that she took are absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for better pictures to be taken. We can't stop looking through them and have no idea how we are going to choose which ones to frame as there are so many gorgeous ones! We received so so many compliments from our family and friends about how lovely Charlie is and how she had a smile on her face all day as she was taking pictures.

Thank you Charlie for capturing every moment of our perfect day, the pictures you have taken we will treasure forever.

Charlie is a dream to work with. She is such a kind and loving person and needless to say, extremely talented. We had a at home with newborn photo session and it was perfect. Charlie was so patient with us when our baby needed feeding (even when our little lady decided to take ages to feed �).

I would highly recommend Charlie to anyone looking for newborn photographs, and do regularly pass her details on even though she's not local to me, as I believe her photographs are worth travelling for. Her style is clean, fresh and unique, her coffee is excellent and she has worked hard to become a master of her craft. As a photographer myself I'm particularly picky about photographs but I think her work is excellent and I feel quite certain that if I have another baby, I'll be taking them to Layer quick sharp for a session.
