I was lucky enough to win a consultation with Emily which couldn’t have come at a better time. Having completed part of our house renovation to create a kitchen/living area, we were missing the finishing touches and needed a little help to get the room finished. Emily visited the house and came up with some brilliant ideas for the room which were later presented on a mood board with accompanying document detailing the items and where to find them. We contacted Emily to help us with our loft conversion living space, which is large but with challenging angular shapes. Working with Emily was great ¬– she was very intuitive to our style and readily understood what we wanted to achieve. She was able to tailor suggestions based on the elements that we already had purchased and was conscious of budget restrictions. We are really happy with Emily’s design. She resourced items that were exactly what we were looking for, yet at the same, time pushed us out our comfort zone (we have officially moved beyond grey and white ☺). Working with Emily was great. Some rooms needed a full redecorate, some needed finishing off and some needed more cushions, rugs and details. She was great with all, suggesting inexpensive solutions and spending money where it was needed. She did a lot of the upholstery work herself which is excellent. Emily has warmth, intellect and is conceptual. Within a few minutes of looking around my home she was producing ideas that were well received and such that I could perceive holistic unity.
This designer does not just cover the basic of wall, floor covers and curtains. She leads on to matters such as heating and lighting.
Welcome is her objectivity and notions to cut costs.
She is worth it.

If you are looking for a one off, authentic solution, this is your designer, with a background in TV production, Emily provides an element of drama, however, the results feel completely authentic, The skills and services they offer include upholstery and soft furnishings as well as more structural alterations. I recommend without hesitation

Emily is articulate, creative and inspiring but also hands-on practical when that's what's needed.
I would not hesitate to recommend Emily to anyone seeking expert interiors advice. In particular, Emily took the time to fully understand our brief and work with our new rebrand to integrate it into our current space. She was always on the lookout for opportunities to improve the space, making recommendations that would complement who we are as an agency but flexible to enough to evolve and grow as we do. Emily brought flair in the detail while also keeping an eye on the big picture. Importantly Emily challenged us when we needed our thinking to be questioned and the result is a space that works harmoniously blending our punchy rebrand with natural materials - somewhere we can be creative, work hard and have fun!

What’s your interior design process?
Interior design is an incredibly personal process so I always like to meet a potential client face to face for a no obligation meeting. This gives us both a chance to learn a little about each other and decide whether we could make a good team. From here we would go on to discuss a style, budget and timeline.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I can create many different styles as any good interior designer should be able to. My personal style is very eclectic, I love layers of texture, interesting art and lots of plants, but most importantly, I think interiors should reflect the personality of the people who live there. I have worked restoring an 18th Century property and at the same time I have designed for new buildings in an ultra-contemporary, minimalist style.
What do you love most about your job?
The search. I absolutely love finding that perfect piece - especially if I have found it through the road less travelled. And of course - installation day - when everything comes together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Interior design is not just work to me, it is my passion. I have always know that it is what I was meant to do and that was that.
Why should our clients choose you?
I take a slightly different approach than many other designers. There is no formulaic cookie cutter with my projects. I work very hard to find to create something very personal to the client, I have a unique database of furniture, fabrics, artists and local craftspeople who help me bring a project to life. I am also incredibly hands on and am a skilled upholster, seamstress and stylist, giving the technical skills to find bespoke solutions for every budget.
