We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in for another great meal.The mushrooms in my starter were huge and just lovely with the garlic mayo. My partner had the special of lentil soup which he enjoyed very much.Onto the main which was sharp out once we'd finished our starters. I had the mixed grill which meant I didn't have to choose between having the steak or the gammon which are both great here. My partner had the steak and ale pie which he always enjoys and our daughter had lasagne which she couldn't quite finish but she really enjoyed as well.Over all a great evening, especially considering that we hadn't booked.This place also has a great function suite for parties etc... The service was outstanding, (especially Ben) so friendly warm and welcoming. The quality of food was superb and as for the portions there is no way I could’ve finished it. Had the most amazing Carvery once again. Just beautiful. Well recommend this place. Harry who is 9 also had a Carvery with all the trimmings and 2 Yorkshire puddings, anyway he finished his dinner and asked the chef for another yorkie, came back to the table with 3 more LOL. He then said, Mum these Yorkshire pudding are the best EVER. Definitely recommend dinner here. xx More...
