Book him! Is the best advice I could give anybody looking for a photographer. His talent as a photographer is unbelievable but he’s also a pleasure to have at a wedding. He felt like one of our friends, so laid back and nothing was too much trouble. All of my guests thought he was brilliant before they even seen any shots and now we have seen a few shots we are blown away! We first met Pete at our friends wedding a few years ago when Chris was best man. As soon as we looked through their photos and album we knew we wanted to book him straight away. He took his time to get to know us and helped us both feel relaxed on our big day. He was very professional and even helped to dress the men on the morning of the wedding! He is very talented and has a good eye for a shot, and some fab new ideas. We can’t believe it’s been a year since we got married, we’ve been looking back at our wedding album and reminiscing about the day - we wanted to say a huge thank you. Where do we start, Pete's work speaks for itself. He was more than happy to collaborate with any particular shots we wanted on our wedding day, however after our inital meeting we felt confident for him to take the lead and do his thing. We certainly were delighted with the results. On the actual day, all of our guests commented on what a lovely guy Pete is. He also had a shot in his mind he asked if we could do. This meant climbing a few rocks in my gown but was so worth it. Afterwards Pete took the time and sat with us to ensure our album was perfect - and it is exactly that. It was quite a simple decision to select Pete as the photographer for our wedding. After seeing his work on Instagram we were instantly impressed and now that we have our final album, we couldn’t be happier. His photos are not only amazing, but his dedication, experience, and professionalism throughout was very reassuring. From our first meeting with Pete he has been great to work with. A truly nice guy, who is enthusiastic about his work and extremely knowledgeable about photography. Throughout he was happy to talk us through his ideas, listen to ours and guide us through the day. When you have a lot to think about on your wedding day, knowing you have Pete as your photographer is a great comfort, and afterwards you end up with what can only be described as a beautiful album, full of amazing photos.

During the day, Pete was exactly what we had hoped for. Friendly and easy to work with, during those special moments he blended into the wedding allowing him to capture those natural smiles, tears of joy and moments of laughter, but when required could got those formal shots without taking up too much time. On top of this, he worked very well with what was a new setting and changeable light to capture those special photos of myself and my wife. These photos, the ones which you will want to display, the ones which you will instantly want to show everyone and anyone, are nothing more than a piece of art. They are true reflection of Pete’s talents as a photographer. Creative and well composed, Pete has an exceptional ability to play with light and depth of field to produce something truly amazing and special. When the day ends, you can be assured that Pete has captured everything you had hoped for and will soon provide you with some beautiful photos in a beautiful album.

In all we couldn’t be happier. Pete has captured our day beautifully and we have ended up with an album which we will cherish forever. We cant thank Pete enough for capturing some great memories on our special day. He is a truly great guy and an amazing photographer.

Pete took our wedding photos in August, and we just got back our album today - my husband and I couldn't be any happier with the finished product!
He managed to capture our day perfectly, the emotions we/everyone felt on the day showed through in each picture and we will cherish them forever.
The album itself is stunning; the glass front, leather bindings and hard pages frame the pictures perfectly and we love how the album is designed to 'tell the story of the day'.
We couldn't have picked a more talented, and easy going/helpful photographer. Pete really has a way of putting you at ease, it's like having a good friend take your photos. He really has a great eye for capturing those special natural moments with loved ones, as well as creating fantastic artistic shots.

I would like to thank Pete for been amazing at my daughters wedding yesterday Alex and lees wedding. He turned up at 10. 30am on the day and was with us until about 9pm. Pete was brilliant not only taking photos but helped all the way keeping myself right with my button hole. Pete just fitted in with all the guests taking very natural photos by the end of the day it felt like he was just part of our family. Can't wait to see the photos. I've known Pete for 10 years and he was always going to be first choice as our wedding photographer, not just because he is a close friend but also because of seeing the work he has done for so many other couples. We were always going to have Pete as he has photographed some of my friends weddings and they were amazing, so original and matched the couples personality. So contacting him was the first thing we did for our wedding and he didn't let us down. His attention to detail from the initial meeting to the wedding day itself was fabulous. He really has such a keen eye and the effects he used with lighting, mirrors and fairy lights blew us away. The finished article, our album which we got on Sunday is absolutely perfect. We met Pete at our friends’ wedding. Once we’d seen their photos, we really hoped he’d be free to capture our big day.
Pete took the time to get to know us and what we were both about, so our photos of the big day would reflect that. He’d seen that we enjoyed hiking so suggested that we head up a mountain the day after our wedding to do a shoot. The result was better than we could have imagined, he really went above and beyond to capure our wedding from start to finish.
Since getting our photos back, we’ve shared them with family and friends and we all absolutely love them. He caught loads of moments of friends and family that we didn’t get to see on the day, which was lovely for us, they’re brilliant.
Pete is the most genuine guy you’ll meet. He went way above the ask of a photographer and we’ll be enjoying our photos for the rest of our lives. Thank you! More...

For some reason my mother wanted a photograph of me and my partner for mothers day to put on her wall.<br />I asked one of my friends to take a photograph and it just did not work. <br /> He told me he knew Pete (Eye of the Tyne Photography)and said he would have a word to see if he could do it. <br />I was a bit reluctant as I thought a professional would charge the earth but I was surprised very<span id="moreReview336899" class="hide"> reasonable. <br />Well to cut a long story short met up with Pete who was very friendly and put us at ease (I hate getting my photo taken) and took our photo. I'll tell you for a fact this guy is good he even managed to make me look half good and my partner looked stunning. <br />Well my mother loves her portrait of us and I don't cringe when I see it up on the wall. <br />I would highly recommend Eye of the Tyne Photography. <br />Sorry if the review is long winded but its the first one I have ever done.</span> More...

Eye of the Tyne Photography took the pictures for our wedding at st mary's lighthouse. They offered a very professional service as well as meetings before hand to find out what we really wanted, as well as suggesting ideas.
