VCHRGD couldn't have been more helpful. The price was good and the service excellent. Delivery of the unit was very fast and the installers McNally were on the phone to arrange an appointment to fit it straight away.
Fitter was very professional and did an excellent job. One small problem was that we hadn't realised that the car needed to be unlocked when we plugged in the charger (we had been using a 13 amp lead which did not need the car unlocked) but that gave us the opportunity to use the chat line. The person we spoke to couldn't do enough to help and soon sorted us out. So to sum up everything went really well and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend both VCHRGD and McNally.
We have solar panels and there is a setting on the App to reduce the amps to the car to a minimum 6 which then charges the car (hybrid) almost completely from the solar. It takes longer but if you don't need it quickly it makes financial sense.
