If you're worried about seeing a Chiropractor and this is your first time then I would strongly recommend these guys! Everything from the moment you step through the door is fully explained so there are no unexpected charges or any confusion about your treatment. They are a family run company and genuinely care about their customers experience, wellbeing and health. Only had 2 adjustments so far but Simon and his team are absolutely amazing. From the second I stepped in to the clinic for my initial consultation and scans, I felt completely at ease. Everything is explained to you thoroughly so you know exactly what each test/scan is for and then you are booked back in to receive your doctors report at a time that's convenient for you. When you come back for your results, you are first sat down and talked through a presentation on Chiropractic so you can fully understand what it is and how it benefits you. It's really interesting! Then you're taken for your results where Simon explains everything really easily for you. You're under absolutely no obligation/pressure to then proceed with an adjustment plan but I did as I'm a little broken! As mentioned previously, I've only had 2 adjustments so far but have left clinic on both occasions with some form of instant relief and a bounce back in my step. I signed up to 12 adjustments for a pain I was having in my left leg and had done for 2 years. The care plan included full spinal scans and two assessment summaries. These identified other areas of my spine and pelvis that needed adjustments. I was always seen on time and felt really good after each adjustment. Within a few weeks the pain I was suffering was gone and throughout my treatment I could feel my body feeling better. I was told at my final assessment that my posture was so much better and that the treatment I had, showed significant improvement. Best chiropractor ive ever been to.I have had back problems for years and after seeing simon i saw improvments within weeks and by the time i completed my course i felt fantastic. I have partial scoliosis and have struggled with my posture for most of my life. I wish I had looked for good chiropractic care 30 years ago! My problematic back may have been young enough to fully correct. As it is I am having regular treatment now from Simon and his team to keep nudging it in the right direction and prevent it getting any worse. It seems to be working! Having suffered a bout of low immunity which manifested in all kinds of ailments for about 8 weeks and getting really miserable with it, my partner suggested trying chiropractic on the principle that if my nervous system was functioning optimally this could help. I was willing to try anything at that point and I'm really glad that I went to Calderdale Chiropractic as this proved to be of immeasurable benefit to my overall health and wellbeing whilst also clearing up my aforementioned symptoms. Excellent service from Simon. Before I started my treatment I had had sciatic problems for over 10years where I was having a massage every 4 weeks to keep this at bay. .... followed by a numb left leg. After my initial review of scans with Simon a plan was put in place to have 12 sessions. I recently had another review on my 12 session, where I have not had any sciatic problems in 8 weeks and the numbness has now gone in my leg (I realised the hard way by banging in to something and it actually hurt). I’m not on a plan where I need to maintain my body with appointments every 4 weeks. Simon has worked wonders on me and to not be in pain from sciatica in 10 years is a miracle and I have more mobility now. I started with Simon nearly a month ago, I was really nervous about going but everyone in the practice made me feel at ease immediately. The explanations given by both the assistants and Simon himself really helped me understand exactly what the problem was I was suffering with. Simon is excellent, extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel very welcome, i have been to a few different chiropractors but none as professional and as high tech as Calderdale, i was x-rayed and had numerous tests done to get to the root of my issue, i have seen Simon many times now and i can honestly say i feel so much better and in a lot less pain, I'm an active person so i get aches and pains in general but i always feel great after a readjustment, thanks again Simon!!
