What do you love most about your job?
I love inspiring young people to become passionate about English, not just the subject, but the leaps and bounds it can take you on. I enjoy seeing my students develop confidence, and analytical and thoughtful approaches to their work, especially when there is a visible improvement such as them gaining a boost to their grades.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved English in school, going on to pursue the subject at the University of Exeter where I received a First-Class BA Honours with Dean's Commendation for outstanding academic work. I want to encourage the creative side to the subject, whilst balancing this with analysis, critical thought, and a deep understanding of language.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a fun tutor who tailors the sessions around the client, encouraging their own interests. My students go on to be not just high-achievers but also more confident, focussed and driven individuals.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have moved most sessions online, to limit contact as well as to provide more flexibility.
English Tuition
I strive to make my students achieve their best ability, and hope that I will also spark a love for the subject. I am well trained in exam situations and will ensure that students are confident and comfortable in their abilities to do well.
During my sessions I will tailor my activities around the exam specifications as well as give homework to ensure full understanding that we can go through week by week; making sure that the student builds their confidence in their own work and ability to work individually. I am well-versed in essay writing skills and hope to provide easy to follow descriptions around how to build a concise and persuasive argument that is tailored to the exam board specifications.
