Terrible terrible communication. Sent them emails to take forward a £20k quotation for timber sash windows since 2022. No reply. Contacted John several times, and he avoids the Qs. No follow ups. No apology. Funny, most other reviewers mention the very same culprit - John Panico. At least have the decency to politely refuse if busy or not interested, so we can go look elsewhere. More...

Enfield Windows were our chosen provider after much thought . Nick Cheeseman was endless patient with our requests on quotation. We were particularly keen to replace the old inside shutters onto the new windows and eventually we agreed a price to do this and for Enfield Windows to replace the shutters if the plan went wrong. It didn't to everyone's relief . The windows are the colours we selected with the finishings we wanted. The making good around the windows is good. Absolutely spell blinding service, Nick & his team have fulfilled a very complex project, bifold doors, windows & composite front door. Team from survey to fitting were professional, courteous and had great attention to detail. Given our home is an old victorian property, there were some issues that arose during fitting due to the age of the property. The team were great and resolving these and were great at communicating with us throughout the installation. We had a very poor experience. Communication and service were poor with delays without reason, emails left unanswered, the scaffolding team letting themselves into my neighbours' property without permission and leaving their scaffolding on for 2 weeks despite having said they'd take it out.

After the works took place, we noticed that the gutter had been damaged, which they then refused to repair - leaving us to arrange and pay for more scaffolding and repairs once the works were finished. Absolutely avoid - there are lots of better companies out there, and I find it suspicious to say the least that all recent positive reviews seem to have been posted on the same day. More...

Dear Michel, I have looked into this matter and we did communicate with yourselves on a number of occasions. I actually spoke to you once myself regarding the guttering. Our scaffolding company takes pictures before and after the scaffolding has been taken down and there was no damage to the guttering. It was reported to us 4-5 weeks after the scaffolding came down. Unfortunately we don’t give a guarantee on your roof and guttering for months after the works have been carried out. However, we do give a full 10 years guarantee on your windows. In regard to our Bark reviews being posted on the same day this was because Bark downloaded the reviews from our Enfield Windows website on 29th July 2022. Nicholas Davidson - Director

Living in a 1930’s house and trying to do a sympathetic loft conversion to original styles proved quite challenging but we found great, affordable ‘traditional style’ windows at Enfield Windows after being let down by another supplier. I’ve been meaning to write to say how pleased we all are with the new windows you installed a couple of weeks ago. They look absolutely wonderful! I am especially pleased with the rear bay window, which gives a clear, unimpeded view of the trees and sky; it makes it worth getting out of bed in the cold mornings! The narrow aluminium frames are perfect, allowing significantly better sightlines than the original wooden frames, and looking very smart both indoors and outside. The stained glass at the front is also spectacular – Tenby & Penny have done an incredible job cleaning and incorporating the original 1930s glass and faithfully replicating the design.

I also want to say that Paul and Scott did a really great job. They were very professional and hard-working. I was especially impressed that they volunteered suggestions on details that might be adjusted to accommodate the new windows, such as retaining the front bay header, which make a difference to the how the windows reflect the design of the house. And throughout they were extremely polite and friendly, making it a pleasure to have them around during the week.

All-in-all, the installation was a very positive experience, and the results are truly spectacular. We are all very happy!

Absolutely shocking customer service and a complete waste of my time. After a visit to the showroom I was assured by Sales Manager John Panico that I would be able to have the window and door that I needed urgently for my loft conversion supplied within 4-5 weeks, which was just enough time without causing delay to the build. The quote that he promised to send within 2 days only arrived after 10 days - after 2 phonecalls to chase it up - and then it was for a roof light that we had mentioned, not the items I actually needed. More chasing and I receive part of the quote I had asked for, now 2 weeks after my showroom visit. My email to query this and request the full quote did not receive a response. I contacted Enfield Windows to discuss with someone else (hoping they might be more useful) and was told the windows would actually take 12 weeks. I am absolutely appalled at this customer service, and especially disappointed as I made it clear that it was very urgent and John assured me that it wasn’t a problem. Thanks so much for giving me false hope, causing major stress and wasting time during which I could have ordered from somewhere else. It is now too late to order windows in time for my loft conversion and I really don’t know what I’m going to do. Re the response from Enfield Windows below. I would expect a sales manager to have an approximate idea of lead times (I doubt the lead time changed that dramatically overnight) or indeed to check if they didn’t know. A casing point - the second person I spoke to on the phone stated and I quote “there’s no way he should have told you that” so your response doesn’t really wash I’m afraid. More...

Really happy with Enfield Windows and looking forward to working with them again. The whole team were brilliant. Communication was clear, prompt and left no room for errors. When we did accidently throw an essential part away, our mistake was met with compassion and quick resolution. Our installation date was put back one week due to manufacturing delays. I was given this information with ample notice and understood it to be an unavoidable hitch in the context of Covid-19 and Brexit. I have purchased twice from Enfield windows and their customer service ahead of and during installation is excellent. However, once the account is fully paid, their follow up is awful. I am missing a small cover from one of my windows fitted in early October. I have telephoned and email on numerous occasions and am promised it is on its way. I would have given them zero if I could. The end to end service has been awful. With constant mistakes and delays throughout. From forgetting to place the original order with the manufacturer, to then placing the wrong order, cancelling installation dates when the replacement glass arrived, and then giving a new installation date almost 2 months after the one they’d missed. I ordered 6 windows in total. The windows arrived on schedule. The installation of the windows went smoothly and I am really pleased with them. Superb quality combined with stunning looks and good value for money. I am a big fan of Enfield Windows and I highly recommend them. Coustomer services was impeccable.

We has a terrible experience back in 2015 with Enfield windows. We were promised any damaged caused to walls during the installation process would be rectified, but we were left with botched wall repairs which used plaster over expanding foam, which was unsightly at best and could not be decorated as it was unstable and cracking. Also had to call them back 3 times to fix poorly fitted windows sills which fell off of 2 different windows twice. We got sick of calls these cowboys (Enfield windows) and got these issue fixed by our handyman in the end. More...

Enfield Windows are now addressing the issues raised in my previous review. I am now happy to update my review to 4 stars.

Enfield Windows fix brickwork they have damaged by using a foam glue which is the quickest botch job possible. We now find ourselves in a position where we have to pay for a builder to complete the job. In our area of Enfield there are hundreds of houses of the same type. Many houses in our area have had windows replaced. Looking at other houses I can see that the same brickwork is straight and in good order. Seems to say something about Enfield Windows. Not to be trusted. Looking at the 5 star reviews many of them look like they could have been written by the same person.To add insult to injury the replacement UPVC windows were not measured accurately.Best to avoid. Enfield Windows are rogue traders. There are plenty of other window suppliers in Enfield.UPDATE in response to reply.1. Does not address the point that brickwork that needs to be replaced is stuck in place with a foam glue. With a thin layer of concrete pointing applied. Not a proper job.2. In the upstairs bedroom window photo you have circled in red the bricks were replaced by Enfield Windows. They are not straight. All neighbouring houses have NOT suffered the same problem. 3. Your contract says that brickwork is made good within 50cm of the window. SO WHY IS THE BRICKWORK ABOVE THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM WINDOW NOT STRAIGHT AND NOT IN GOOD ORDER? More...
