Went bowling with my partner and met this lovely lad called will in the bowling alley of spectrum. He was so kind and respectful to the pair of us and was a delight to speak to. Felt very welcome where in alot of other places we haven't which we really appreciate. The bowling alley was amazing too, quiet when we went which was nice. Had alot of fun and recommend to anyone wanting to go. The prices are affordable and the staff are lovely, especially William from the alley. :) More...

Excellent pools with slides and wave pool, clean facilities to change a bit cramped but acceptable, not as good as it used to be, when the dive pool and main swimming pool were included in the entrance fee, i never see diving pool open now. Took my kids here for my youngest daughters birthday. Swimming bowl and ice skating. Was a fantastic day. The kids all absolutely loved it. Staff were friendly. The facilities were fairly clean ( as clean as they could be while being in constant use). Overall a really good day. Although I have just become a member, there is not many good things about this place The staff at reception are not friendly and some of them they straggle with knowledge. I have disability and the door down at the bottom it is dedicated for pupils and disable people. It happen many times that the reception do not let you in not believing that I have disability. I had to go to speak ti manager about this and I will see if future if they have improved. The lockers at gym most of them don't work. The place is very filthy. The shower area was disgusting but recently they have started some renovating work. There was jacuzzi which does not work for years and nothing was done. More of it seems to be falling apart each time I visit. The pool is still pretty good for kids. But so many broken lockers, slides not in action, leaks through the roof. Soft play is decent. Tiles missing all over the walkway in, whole place needs some love, or knocking down and starting again. Started coming here in the late 90s as a 13 year old for the ice disco and bowling, and now bring my 2 year old along so it's a place that's been a big part of my life. More...

It would be nice to give a five star review but until they get their website and notifications sorted out it remains a four. When they have an ice hockey match that cancels a skating session it would be nice if they notified those people on their email list or even published it clearly on the website. We visited at 4pm on a Sunday and found that it wasn't too busy. My 6 year old loved it but my 9 year old wasn't that impressed with the slides and prefers Coral Reef Water world. The floors were filthy. People should have to take their shoes off before entering the changing rooms. I pointed out that there was no toilet roll and a member of staff brought some straight away. However she also filled in the check sheet to say she had visited twice in the past couple of hours and cleaned the floor which wasn't true. Despite this my children had a great time and hopefully the chlorine is doing its job to kill all the germs. More...

One stop for families for bowling , swimming, toddler’s swimming, ice rink and lot more. Ample parking and advance booking is the best option. Catering is also available.

Fantastic hour of ice skating yesterday. I did end up tearing ligaments but it wasn’t the fault of the venue, I didn’t ask for help because it seemed okay. However there was lots of staff on hand who I am sure would have helped if I knew how bad it was. Overall great time at the venue… due to my own fault not so good after. Please note I am only reviewing the pool here. Went on an Easter Monday after booking online which showed 27 spaces in the morning for a 1445 booking. Well, it was packed. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere this busy. It’s a rush to find a changing room, they’re dirty and small. Going through to changing area was cramped and you had to push through to move. Not even sure where the showers were. And the toilets were awful. It’s really grubby and I couldn’t get home quick enough to have a good shower. The pool is great for little kids and my twins loved the infant slides they could use. But it’s just too busy. You’d think with a booking system that it would be less busier. There was always someone next to you within a metre of the pool. The waves were fun, but who knows how the lifeguards can actually spot someone in trouble though. There’s on main wave pool and then lots of shallow areas for little ones and some slides dotted about. Other than that it’s not that fun for older children but more suited for under 8s. I went to this place with my son, and it was spectacular. Clean air, tidy place, friendly staff at reception. My son went climbing, and he loved . The instructor also made the experience better by challenging some kids to achieve some of the challenges that build up they confidence. We also went to ice skating and was very good. The staff were okay, but what l love the most was to see in the session after for blind and disabled customers, people in wheelchair also could make with a Helper. It has enough space. The reason l gave four was for safety reason because there was some professional skaters racing around the place with to much speedy and l just felt it a little insecure as it could end up with an accident and someone getting injured. Also, the food was okay in the coffee, but in one of the places they were selling hamburguer with steam chicken, the burrito was really "disgusted" with a lot of ketchup and mayonnaise. We came to the spectrum today, 2 adults and 3 children. All I can say is wow! It was disgusting. The changing rooms were appalling, dirt, tissues, nappies and sanity wrappers on the floor. The toilets were the same, I walked in and walked back out and waited to use the bathroom upstairs. The swimming pool was hugely overcrowded. You could barely move without stepping on someone. The staff were doing their best, there was a lifeguard on every corner and people sweeping the floor but this that amount of people in such a small space it not manageable, it’s highly unhygienic.
