Emma has been an amazing support, helping me to understand my anxiety triggers and how to manage them by noticing my thoughts. She’s opened my mind and has started me on my new journey in life, to feeling better, both physically and emotionally. I would recommend Emma to anyone feeling lost, alone or suffering with anxiety. Emma helped me with my confidence and self worth, she listened to me, understood what I felt and helped me to see what my thoughts and beliefs were doing to me. She gave me the tools to help myself and the hipnosis to change my thought patterns. I had been applying for jobs for months, would get the interviews but couldn't 'sell myself'. After sessions with Emma I now have been offered a job in a much higher position than I ever thought possible. Thank you Emma, you have shown me how to believe in myself and understand my thought process. I 100% recommend Emma to anyone with anxiety, confidence and self worth issues. More...

Q&As

I love working collaboratively with my clients to set clear and specific therapeutic goals that we can measure progress against at every session.
It is my passion to help clients experience lasting change and to be equipped with valuable tools and techniques that will spill over positively into all aspects of life.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnosis in my practice. My approach is entirely evidence based, meaning I only use techniques that have satisfactory clinical evidence for their efficacy.

I understand the true value of hypnosis and cognitive behaviour therapy, having overcome my own personal anxieties and challenges, using these proven techniques. I know from experience how we can help ourselves grow and transform our lives through understanding how our own thoughts shape our existence.

I have a background in teaching, leadership education, training and consultancy. I made the transition to therapeutic practice when I was awarded the James Braid scholarship to train with the UK College of Hypnosis (the only hypnotherapy training programme approved by The British Psychological Society). I now work for the UK College.

I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, CNHC and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, CNHC and the National Council for Hypnotherapy.
I combine the two most powerful psychological therapies: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, offering the most effective and proven therapy currently available to address many issues.
I work with you to set clear goals so we can measure the success of the therapy and be specific about the change that has happened as a consequence of treatment. Sessions are confidential, supportive, solution-focused, and in a comfortable, safe environment.
The initial session is usually 90 minutes, after which each session is one hour.
A treatment plan will be agreed at the end of session one. Each session will have an agenda where your treatment goal is discussed and your progression towards it is assessed. Midway through, the sessions will be reviewed as a whole to assess your progress.
