I would say working with Amy was nice and we thought we were in steady hands, but it felt like a giant waste of money in the end. Edits weren't to standard, she would come with her plan and when I asked for revisions she would say they weren't part of the package. Clearly there was a huge misunderstanding of what we actually wanted. She would also present an idea with specific products we would fall in love with and then when the shopping list came, the items were different. The measurements offered for things like our dining table ended up being way off, same with our living room carpet. She will likely blame this on our measurements, but we worked with our surveyors floor plan and then we remeasured. We felt a bit cheated and just stopped communicating. I should have saved £1500 and worked with someone else or just done it myself. She was very kind and had some workable ideas, but in the end it ended up being a giant waste of money and time. I contacted Amy because I didn’t know where to start with my space. Amy made the process really simple and easy and communicated with me throughout. She was more than happy to take my ideas on board as well as using her own ideas to come up with a design i was happy with. In particular I liked that Amy was able to match everything to my inspiration so well- It’s almost like she stepped into my brain. I worked with Amy on our open plan living/dining room as well as our master bedroom. Working with Amy was a dream - she took a few suggested ideas, styles and pieces I loved and turned them into complete concepts. I'm very time poor and she made everything easy and fun. She was also receptive to any tweaks or ideas I had, and it felt like a real collaboration (with her doing all the hard work of course!). She found fun & unique pieces and mixed them with suggestions from 'every day' stores too. We love the final rooms and loved working with Amy. I chose to work with Amy because I love the eclectic style, and I love owning and collecting lovely oddities to display - but I struggle to pull it all together in a way that looks deliberate and visually pleasing rather than just like I'm insane. We worked on a design for my bedroom and living area, with the brief that both would reflect my eclectic style but with a more vibrant space in the living room and a more relaxing and calm vibe in the bedroom. I found the experience really good for helping me to work through exactly what i wanted - Amy was extremely patient and she helped me to work through the colour palettes and 'type' of eclectic I wanted. It was so useful being able to visualise the space in mood boards and 3d designs - so that by the time it came to buying items, they were the perfect fit for what I wanted. I would recommend this to anyone looking for help to visualise and try out different things and really help to refine what they are looking for before splashing out and buying stuff that doesn't then work! It was great to work with Amy to redesign my living-room. Her creative talent and knowledge, as well as her willingness to listen to my ideas, made this a great experience – I am very pleased with how it all went.
