An Absolute Joke. When we spoke to Andre the first time he promised the world to us. Boasted all 'his girls' were absolutely reliable. He said if one couldn't make it then he would arrange cover. Derek I'm very sorry we had to let you down however your appointed cleaner has just this morning been taken into hospital unimpededly and my priority has been trying to find out if she is ok and I haven't had chance to call you prior to your call. Not great at all very very very unprofessional ! Twice had been let down Booked 4 hours slot week before no show on the day chased the whereabouts apparently overlooked to inform that appointment had to be cancelled due to reassigning the cleaner elsewhere . Just to let you know that instead of enjoying our evening going out for a meal, we had a takeaway and spent the evening cleaning our house.
Again.
Out of 4 arranged cleans, you have managed to attend 1.
The first time you didn't attend was a one-off deep clean that you agreed to before our "dedicated cleaner" could start. No-one arrived and you never spoke of it or offered any explanation. We assumed it was just a glitch and waited for our first proper clean. I should have taken that as a warning.
Our "dedicated" cleaner who did the only clean was supposed to come and meet us before the day but didn't, nevertheless she did a good job and we were happy with it. She quit her job less than a week later and got covid days before she should have attended but YOU didn't inform us that she wasn't coming, l found out from her. Poor communication on your part at best. Your apology and lacklustre explanation was accepted. Our mistake.
We cleaned our house for a second time that you should have.
You then told me about our new "dedicated" cleaner who did actually come and meet us before starting.
We have family coming over this weekend but we decided that as the house would be clean we would go out for the evening. With your astounding inability to communicate with your customers we found out once again that our clean wouldn't be happening from the cleaner herself when we texted her direct. Just like the first cleaner, she assumed that you would inform us.
We spent our evening cleaning the house. I cannot express how angry I am with you without using expletives. I sent you a message at 18.12 today and it is now almost 10pm. You have had almost 4 hours to contact me without counting the entire day that you have known she wasn't coming in. There is no excuse for that and I struggle to understand why you would treat any customer the way you have us. We no longer require your (lack of) services and will be leaving this message on your page so that people know what to expect from you.
If you are happy with poor communication and last minute letdown, this is the one for you, otherwise avoid.

How long have you been in business?
Elmsleigh Cleaning Services was set up in July 2015 for the purpose of domestic cleaning however we now do all domestic and commercial cleaning.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes, all our prices include cleaning products and equipment including the hoover, mop&bucket, etc.
The only time that changes is if the customer needs a specific product used on a specific items like Oak furniture or flooring then we ask that this is provided and the customer briefs our cleaner on the correct use of it.
What do you love most about your job?
Delivering a service that the customer is not only impressed with but will recommend to friends and family. We are a family run business built in recommendations so this is extremely important to us.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Moving location and having 25yrs experience in health & safety and logistics plus running another business we set up Elmsleigh Cleaning Services for my Wife Mary. We employed a couple of friends who were already experienced cleaners and we have grown quickly and now have a team of over 14 staff.

Domestic cleaning
- Regular Weekly or Fortnightly.
Priority is given to the kitchen, bathroom and toilets upon every visit then we move onto the other living areas and finish with the bedrooms. The service is tailored to the customers needs and can be changed to suit as often as necessary. An appointed cleaner will visit each time so always the same person allowing the cleaner to set up a routine of the property and the customer to decide if they want to be home or have the cleaning done while out at work or other.
Home Support Services
This is a service that is very popular with our elderly or disabled customers as well as those new or expectant Mum's. This includes everything except cooking that our customers need a little extra help with. Ironing, general tidy up, making or changing beds, clearing pathways, even getting the shopping or cutting the grass..... we help with it all!!
Oven Cleaning
Single, double or Rangemaster we clean them all including the grill, hob and hood if required.
If you think your oven is ready to be skipped or simply can't stand the thought of cooking in it again, let us make it look like new again for you. Your be amazed with the results!!
Outside cleaning of the Property
Pressure/Jet washing - We clean driveways, pathways, decking and anything else
Gutter Inspections and Cleaning
Our new system allows us to work from the ground and inspect your guttering with a wireless CCTV and then hoover it all out including those little gutter gardens that appear from nowhere and block the entire guttering up. We will remove it all!!
Commercial Cleaning
This includes offices, clubs, pubs, photographic studios and factories plus any other commercial properties.
