We had the huge pleasure of having Dave and Lauren come to our house for a private dining experience last week. Exceptional service from start to finish; more then flexible in creating a menu that is suitable for various tastes and needs. Dave is quite simply a culinary genius. Each course was absolutely delightful and portions sizes were large. Additionally, I'd recommend Ellisons dining to anyone looking to hold a function or to simply have friends or family over to dinner; it's far better quality food and value for money than what you could get in any restaurant; prepared in your home and I must say that they left my kitchen spotless, they did a better job than I do. We had the most perfect day on Saturday, David & Lauren created the perfect Bbq lunch for our dad's 80th birthday for 27 of us, they catered for all our needs and we could not have asked for more, the food was fantastic we needed a mixed bbq to include vegan dishes. With excellent communication from the start, Ellison's Dining were adaptable to our wishes and requests.
The quality and variety of food exceeded expectations, using a fantastic selection of local and seasonal ingredients.
Throughout the day they provided an attentive and excellent table service.

What’s your signature dish?
This is a tough one because i love to cook so many dishes. Recently for a client i put together a beautiful braised pork belly starter where i gave it a salt crust and served it with a sweet apple puree, crackling and smoked bacon lardon's. The flavour combinations worked so well together, the pork belly fell apart in your mouth and the feedback was simply incredible with guests saying "without a doubt the most amazing pork belly i've ever eaten".
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I do have a selection a menus for clients to choose from but i do prefer to talk to the client to see what there preference is and to see if there's any special requests. For me as a chef there's nothing better than creating a bespoke and personal menu for there special occasion.
What do you love most about your job?
This is simple!. Its customer satisfaction. when i have created a menu for a client and then catered for there event and they are truly happy and satisfied with our service it puts the biggest smile on my face ever. Been able to share my passion for food with others is an amazing position to be in and i love it so much.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to share everything i have learnt in this industry on a much more personal level. After several years as a head chef i thought it was time to push myself on a whole new level and it was the best decision i have ever made.
