Interior Plastering & Rendering

Employed Eksagon to skim the ceiling in a bedroom. The work was completed quickly and looks good. Great work. Thank you!

Q&As

We offer a 2-year guarantee with all of our work, but you won't need it.

All of our work is conducted in accordance to the National House Building Council and British Standards. All of the relevant documentation are provided in our full written schedule of works.

I (Tano) enjoy the project management aspect, of organising and delivering new projects. This has been my domain for more than a decade in a variety of industries (including research and development, energy conversion) and now in home renovations and construction.

Our foreman Florin has been working in construction since 15 years old, trained by his father. If you can think of it, he can probably make it for you.

Our customers work with us because of our values: transparency, trust and integrity.

Transparency: We provide fully written scope of works with relevant highlighted standards.
Trust: We treat your home like our own. We keep it safe and clean and deliver our work to a high finish.
Integrity: We show up when we say we will and complete our projects according to the timelines provided.

We wear masks when visiting customer homes and all of our staff have been fully vaccinated.

Services

Complete room or home renovation projects. Our typical projects start from £2,000 and your space will be unrecognisable once we finish. Depending on the construction type, we start by removing and disposing of all existing wallpaper, plaster, flooring and skirting. New plasterboard is installed with the ceiling and walls plastered to a high finish. New flooring and skirting are then installed.

The kitchen is at the heart of the home. We provide affordable and high quality kitchens installed to a high finish.

We start by understanding the customer taste and budgetary options. Kitchens range from £500 to £5,000. Worktops can be laminate at £100 per length, or quartz/granite at £1,000 per length.

After we identify the exact type of work required we place orders with the suppliers. This is done either by us at Eksagon, or independently by the customer. Once we have a delivery date confirmed, we then schedule the work.

We start by removing existing kitchen and making safe of all gas, water and electricity feeds in the space. Depending on the finish of the walls, we may need to remove plaster and install new plasterboard.

Gas, water and electricity are adjusted/relocated as needed, before the new kitchen is assembled and installed.

Other options e.g. new flooring and lighting can be also discussed with the customer.

We delivery bathrooms to a high finish including walk-in wet rooms.

Our work starts by complete removal and disposal of existing furnishings and making safe of all water feeds. Water feeds are then relocated as required and in accordance with the new shower, sink and toilet requirements.

New moisture resistant plasterboard and/or cement/fibre boards are installed, as appropriate, before waterproofing, tiling and grouting to a high finish.

Shower or bathtub, sink and toilets are then all installed and plumbed in to provide new toilet experience!

Our flagship service: single, double-storey rear, side or wrap-around extensions.

We undertake end-to-end home extension projects, project managed and finished to perfection. We always start our projects with the end in mind: What is the desired finish and how will the space look like after our work has been completed?

Working backwards, we then compile an extensive schedule of works that describes the work and includes details on all elements of the build:
- Foundations: depth, width, conditions of soil and grade of concrete
- Drains: location and diversion, if necessary
- Brick/Blockwork: Makes and models to be used as necessary
- Damp-proof course: Location, grade
- Joists: timber grade and size
- Roof: Timber grades and sizes for wall plate, rafters, battens
- Roof tiles: make, model and headlap of roof tile
- Valleys: GRP, lead, or other as needed
- Structural openings: Installation of steelwork and lintels according to structural engineer specification and
- Electrics: New electrics for extension by a qualified electrician, as needed
- Gas: New gas pipe installation, and boiler installation as needed
- Boarding & Skimming: Installation of plasterboard and skimming
- Flooring: laminate or tile installation
- Bathroom: plumbing and tiling toilets, sinks and showers
- Painting and decorating: skirting, wallpapering.
