What makes a great website?
Your customers will want something that is easy to navigate and intuitive that looks sleek and professional. You will require something that is easy to manage as it is unlikely something that you will have much time to keep up to date.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your vision? What designs have you seen that float your boat?! What previous design work has been done for your business, and did any of it meet your needs? What timescale are you looking for?
Describe your creative process.
I like to get an understanding of my clients needs and go away to research and develop several ideas to present back to the client. With their feedback, then develop one of the ideas into a fully formed solution ready for distribution.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Any specific branding i.e. logos, typefaces, colours. What vision they may have for the end product so that it can be worked into the initial ideas. Timescale - how quick a turnaround do they need and is there going to be more work in the future.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being creative and putting elements together to design something that makes people happy and I like to be the person who solves problems for others to make their lives better/easier.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had a passion for design and I get to show some of that in my day job but I stated this business to allow me to fulfill the desire I have to produce quality work and see it being used day to day in the real world!
