We found Paul from Bark , the way he approached us was very friendly and claimed he mainly works for NHS
and big Nursing homes . . I work for NHS and when I said that to him he said then I can do the work for you without paying the VAT . So we thought since the pandemic lots of companies offer NHS staff some sort of discount and believed him and decided to start work with him for our extension and refurbishment. When we asked about the contract he said it is mutual trust. Also he was rushing to start the job . With a verbal agreement and a quote stating 10weeks labour charge we started our work in end March . At the end of June he only managed to do the footing . However within that three months his workers managed to do lots of damage to our property. He spoiled our garden by dumping all the rubbish on the grass instead of Skip , broken the fence and drive way . We were happy to suffer all this if he pay our money back . We lost all most £15000 which we paid well ahead . Now not only money losse but also happinesses in our house is gone because of an extension.
Only one advice to everyone please do not over pay any money to him. He never finish your work.
Our life is spoiled because of him … still waiting him to pay our money. In case if he pays I will update.. if didn’t update you all knows he never paid the money back

Paul and his team originally come to fix my iron gate that had fallen off they done a good job immediately which was great. While they were here I mentioned how my porch needed a new roof and within a couple of days it was done.I had been trying to get this roof done for 2 years without success due to people constantly letting me down so was very happy when Paul and his team stepped in so quickly and done a very good job aswel. They are good at what they do but are also a very pleasant and respectful team of guys, glad I found them through Bark and would definitely use them again and I have recommended them to friends and family. All of what I said on the review is the truth if you want me to take photos of what you done I am happy to attached them. Only issue there is no option to attached them photos . also asked certified building surveyor to see the work that you did if its worth money of what I paid for, his report is not worth and he said its good I have stopped you to carry on . And even instructed me to report you to the trading standard . Now I have to get someone to pay to collect your rubbish that you supposed to removed as you told me you will in your 2nd day but you DID NOT. I would never recommend you to any work. More...
