It was OK, nothing special, overcooked burgers & raw chicken, "Chef" had a lot of running about, not organised at all. Tryi g to cook on 5 Bbq's. For a £100 it was a rip off must have spent maybe £50 on food for 17 folk,!!!!!! More...

Fish and Shellfish cookery day was fabulous. Excellent, friendly tuition using beautiful ingredients. Each stage is demonstrated first which makes it easier when you come to do it yourself. We ate each course straight after we cooked it accompanied by wine and good company. Would definitely do this again to learn another skill. Highly recommended. More...

This place is wonderful! Booked 5 kids in for a summer cooking course and they had such a lovely, adventurous few days. Really friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Steve was a big hit with all of them. He took them out foraging, and inspired them all in the kitchen. There is something for everyone, even children who are slightly apprehensive towards food (as is one of my boys). Children need more of this in their lives - even three days has transformed them in terms of skills, confidence and curiosity. Woke up to my two delighted boys making omelettes this morning... They've not stopped talking about it. We will be back! Might need to book a day for myself too... More...

My husband and I spent a wonderful day yesterday at the Modern Asian cooking course. Chris was excellent - clear instructions and answers to questions. There was a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and our fellow participants seems to be having as much fun as we were, ending up with some tasty dishes. More...

We were lucky enough to have Chris and his team cater for our wedding at Cambo Estate in October. From the first meeting Chris tailored the menu to suit our style and nothing was a problem. He was such a pleasure to work with and we got so many complements about the food on the day! Would highly recommend! More...

We were given vouchers for a food & wine evening for christmas.  Our choosen theme was mediterrean.  All the wine is pre selelted to go with the different courses. On arrival canapes were served and sparking wine dished out.  All canapes were divine.Next we were led into the dining room which was the old stables in this old coach house.  Our starter of Bouillabaise and monkfish arrived matched wine. To go with our pork main we had a lovely red wine.  Unfortunaltley due to a second cold coming on this was the last I could taste of wine.  I couldn't even smell it in the first place. stupid cold!Anyways we moved on to sherry, which is appartently dry - yeap cold seems to kill ma tastes buds now.  Accomplimenting a french comte and a fig chutney - both tasty. Then the dessert - Baklava and pistachio ice cream - heaven!    Sweet dessrt wine but again the taste buds was gone, so it could of been water for all I'd known!! Ok I had the cold but it didn't dampen my mood.  I really had a jolly good old time and meet some nce people who were sitting at the same table.   Conversation was a flowing and so was the wine!I'd come back again for sure for another theme - without a cold! :D More...
