Vesna and her colleagues have just finished sprucing up our flower beds in Effingham. She also came round the garden centre with me and helped me chose plants. The result is delightful. What do you love most about your job?
Ornamental gardening is the most fulfilling, relaxing and meditative job. It's also exciting- watching something grow from a seed, mixing colours, forms and textures, watching birds and wildlife, smell the soil and the rain... For me it's like breathing, can't live without it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We were in the business of building water features. We would always call a horticulturist to plant the decoration around it. Than we realized that working with plants is so much more interesting, so we gradually increased planting until we finally become a Gardening Company. We are lucky people!
