What do you love most about your job?
It is not an easy task to chose one factor we love about our jobs above all others. With this in mind we have decided to present to you the most esteemed few.
Firstly, we have a wide variety of clients, all with diverse backgrounds and business requirements. From boat manufacturers to farmers. From chip shops to university accommodators. We do it all and we thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.
Another satisfying part of our job is assisting our clients in their time of need. Often clients approach us bewildered by complicated demands from HMRC or Companies House. We pride ourselves on our client friendly approach, taking time to understand the client and solve the issue in hand. This presents a sense of job satisfaction like no other.
To sum up our favoured parts of the job is seeing the whole picture of your business. We strive to get to know our client's business on an individual basis - so we are able to thoroughly understand their needs, and the best way to tackle them. Taking a client from something as simple as a period's bank statement to a full set of Companies House compliant accounts is extremely enlightening and rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working with a top 10 accountancy firm for a number of years, I continued my career as a Financial Director in the travel industry. After 15 years, I left to pursue my goal to establish my own accountancy practice. My goal was driven by the yearning to assist small family businesses at an affordable fixed fee. As the owner of a small business, I understand the importance of your small business needs. I personally feel each up and down experienced by our clients, and do my upmost to assist them.
