Just called in today for the Wednesday carvery. Really tasty and excellent value for money at £5. All in all, nice place. So give yourself a treat - and a break from the cooking- and pop in sometime.

Don't really want to advertise this place too much as I eat here every week day and would like to keep it as quiet as possible so I can get my food sooner. But sadly the truth is that the place is great, menu for a club is surprisingly large. Staff are very friendly, not had a bad meal here. Toilets are in good order for a rugby club. Great venue for parties, large bar area, loads of seating areas and dancefloor / DJ space. Attended by friendly staff. Loads of free parking and outside spaces too.

Great club house. Grounds are idylic next to the wear. Plenty of area to keep occupied. Poss the best sausage butty in a club house I've ever had. Old style sausages.

Great place to watch the Rugby. Only a bandstand on one side though, and on the other you will need to sit on the grass. Regardless of this, it's perfect for the summer when it's warmer! More...

Well I have played rugby there for gateshead rfc. They are very tough and I don't think we have ever beaten them! This place is really hard to find ,even with a sat nav !
