As a new business Dunkley were recommended. They started off well. Unfortunately this was not sustained. They carried out three primary tasks in the first three months, VAT registration and two quarter payroll calculations. In summary there were omissions in the VAT1 form that resulting in correspondence from HMRC, a wasted afternoon sorting out on the phone. Then two payroll errors both to staff and for HMRC (first quarter error then same thing again next quarter). They failed to notify HMRC when applying the employers NIC allowance resulting in warning notes from HMRC and then failed to provide any written reconciliation. I finally lost patience and cancelled their appointment. I would not recommend Dunkley for a new business. More...
