Simon is a great PT. After just a few sessions, I feel the benefit of him motivating me and good at pushing me to get the best workout.

Had 3 months worth of sessions with Simon in the lead up for a much long overdue summer break with some friends, so was very excited but at the same time a tad apprehensive as have never done the PT thing before (have got to that point in my life where I can afford these things every now and again so why not? ). After doing my research decided to go with Simon at Drye Fitness.

Can honestly say without doubt one of the most professional people I have come across. He went into plenty of detail regarding the nutrition elements as well which really helped me get in shape for summer. You can tell he really knows his stuff.

Lastly, I will say, his sessions are pretty darned hardcore! By that, I mean on the odd occasion I felt like I was gong to throw up! Might sound off putting to some - but I really felt like I was being put through my paces- felt like I was getting my moneys worth! Either that or am just weak! Will be going back for another block of sessions at some point! Highly recommended.

One to one personal training with fresh ideas, the latest equipment plenty of motivation and support.
Empathy and understanding go along way. The more i know about your habits, nutrition and exercise focus , the more i can give you exciting workouts that inspire you, give you results and make you want more.
I always offer homework so that you can continue to lose weight or reach your other goals between our sessions. I offer a lot of flexibility in training methods eg longer or shorter sessions ,at home, in the park, advice over skype or phonecalls etc. Sometimes i run competitions and give prizes to further motivate and reward.

Just get started instead of waiting!
Enjoying your workouts is important. Enjoy the journer but dont be obssessed by the goal. If you accept it will take time, you can still have quick wins, but in the long run you are more likely to succeed. A great body comes from great habits - no simply 2 months blast of workouts - yes this is a great start, but i want to empower you to have long term success and great health.
Keeping things fresh. Setting frequent, clear and meaningful goals is very important. Also thinking about changing habits and routine is so important. With every client i work on mindset and knowledge as much as the actual excercises.
Finally be happy and love your body as it - their is no contradiction here. We all want to be fitter - including me and i train often and hard, but we dont need to be obssessed or overly stressed. Excercise is here to make us happier - its not just about losing weight; enjoy other things like - getting up early (get more done); better moods, more confidence, new gym freinds, stress relief; so many benefits of workout!

I love seeing people lose weight and gain confidence. I like how it inspires their partner and families. I get a lot of referrals to partners or friends because they can see the results. Once my male cleint started bodybuilding - a friendly rivalry started in his office - and also once he change sugary snacks for fruit and veg - other people followed. I love this ripple effect. I also love shifting my clients beliefs and showing them that they can achieve great things if they put their mind to it. I also like the humour and banter that goes along with it. It can be fun and exciting as well as being goal focused and determined. Adapting to cleints individual needs and helping them overcome their own plateaus and fitness obstacles is a challenge i lose to rise to. Ive done everything from mindfulness training to advising on ebooks to even going shopping with them; whatever it takes.

I love working one to one with people. I like helping them improve confidence, reach their goals and feel amazing about it.
