Leo’s expertise has been essential for the design, advice and development of the new website for Bath Oral Surgery Clinic and has made it so much more effective, particularly with the on-line referral process. The whole site looks great and I am very very pleased with it. More...

In the Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Bristol we have been working with Dropdead design for over 10 years, on a wide range of projects including design, print and web. Dropdead is our go to designer because he makes the process easy, translating our objectives into effective, slick looking design that has impact. We are very lucky to find someone that can follow strict brand guidelines and produce high quality designs, that stand out from other university branded material. Highly recommended More...

Leo has played a key role in growing my business. Over 6000 leads from our website in the last 5 years! My only problem is managing the work load.

A great website should communicate everything you want potential customers to know and remember about your business. The design should look to marry the needs of the business to the motivations and desires of the customer through an evidence based methodology - not guesswork. Ultimately, people visit websites to learn something, solve problems and get answers; fulfilling these key areas of engagement will drive new leads, purchases and business.

* Whats your budget for this project?

* What are you trying to achieve and what is your ideal outcome for the project?

* Do you have any brand assets in place that need to be incorporated into the design?

* Are you looking for a longer term design partner or just someone who can execute your plan right now.

First and foremost, a successful creative process is driven by clear and consistent communication with a client.

1) We'll talk and get to the bottom of what you want to achieve. I typically record interviews with all my clients so I do not miss a single detail. Understanding your needs is critical to the success of any project.

2) Based on your feedback I'll draw up a plan of action with a detailed quotation so we are both clear on whats expected.

3) Once we are in agreement, I execute the plan and keep you in the loop on critical steps of the design journey. Presenting progress to you and gathering feedback so we both remain on track to produce a successful outcome.

Ultimately, I aim to translate your proposition into a meaningful experience for your customers that uplifts engagement in your business. Typically a new design is handled in "Milestones" - Each milestone represents a key stage to be reached in the design process until the project is complete.

This is entirely dependant on the type of design I will be approaching. Needless to say I will make it clear what is required from you before you make any formal commitment to a project.

Seeing designs I produce work effectively for my clients.

I like the flexibility and diversity that comes with being your own boss.

I care a great deal about my work and the relationships I form with my clients. I deliver honest critical thinking to any design project I work on. If you are looking for a long-term, reliable and straight talking design partner - I am your guy.
