Have used Daniel for 5 family photo shoots spanning several years now and we are always delighted with the pictures. Shoots have included two different newborns and various unruly toddlers, which haves left us parents rather despairing of the outcome - but Daniel always manages to work his magic, and we end up spoiled for choice with some fantastic photos. Have used Daniel for 6 family photo shoots spanning several years now and we are always delighted with the pictures. Shoots have included two different newborns, various unruly toddlers and latterly 3 kids under 5 all on the move outdoors in a park! Despite our despair on the day and apprehension on the outcome, Daniel always manages to work his magic, and we end up spoiled for choice with some fantastic photos. He manages to cover both 'classic' and fun in each shoot, really capturing the personalities of the children. Daniel was really amazing on the day with our daughter, and we couldn't be happier with the photos - he is very patient and very skilled and managed to get some lovely shots of our daughter. We're so delighted with everything, we would definitely ask Daniel again when we have another baby.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Capturing a moment and telling a story.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I normally ask how they intend to use the pictures, and if they have any particular images in mind. Then the goal is to translate that into a personal set of beautiful images.
What do you love most about your job?
It sounds a bit cheesy but I love being able to give people photos that they'd like to be able to take themselves but with a few surprises thrown in.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been a professional photographer forever. However, it was the birth of my own kids that inspired the family photography side of my business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'd like to think that as well as experience and quality, I have the ability to capture a little bit extra in my images. Sessions are fun no fuss and tailored to suit each clients needs.
