I have 2 large breed dogs, 1 who is dog reactive and 1 who is shy/nervous of strangers and new places. Finding a groomer that can accommodate both of their needs has been increasingly difficult and that’s why I’m so pleased we found Doodle Style.
Kirsty goes above and beyond to make our groom visits completely stress free, by ensuring there are no other dogs around for our entire visit and working hard to build a good relationship with both dogs. I never have to worry about all the “what-ifs” that come from having reactive dogs as Kirsty has everything covered for us.
Both dogs always come home looking and smelling amazing, which is no easy job with our double coated heavy shedders.
We travel a little distance to get to Doodle Style but it is 100% worth it. By far the best groomer and the best groom experience we’ve had!

What do you love most about your job?
There are two aspects I love about my job. One is pushing my ability and styling a dog amazingly and the other is when a customer comes in and has tried many groomers but never gets the cut they want and I’m able to get it right. I love seeing how happy they are with a good groom and sending out the pups with waggy tails ?
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve been grooming for over 10 years. I went self employed 2 years ago as I hated the restrictions I had while working for someone else. This way I get to choose the best products for your dogs coat without being limited to what the company approves of. I can take as long as your pet needs to groom them without the targets and time restraints a company give you. I get to put you and your pet first instead of someone else’s buisness which is what made me fall in love with grooming :)

I will always do my best to accommodate your requirements. I will always put your pets welfare first. I may not be the cheapest groomer around but I am good. I use high quality safe specially formulated products on your pet. I will always be honest about what I can and can not achieve with your pet. I am fully qualified to a high standard and am always keeping up to date with my training and furthering my education.

Bath and Brush
Shampoo and hand blow dried. Nails clipped ears cleaned. (Prices start from £25)
Puppy Groom
Bath and hand blow dry. Face and foot trim. Sanitary trim. Nails clipped. (Prices start from £25)
