We’d recommend Kalvin 100%! We have a very nervous dog (Spud) who doesn’t settle with anyone but us. We started working with Kalvin about a year ago, and at first Spud wouldn’t let anyone stroke him or go near him without barking and growling, but fast forward to now and Spud has just stayed with Kalvin for a week and enjoyed strokes from him, his son, and even strangers! Kalvin has a great way with dogs and we trust him 100%. He is always on hand if you have any questions, is very knowledgable, and we’d recommend him for any of your dog needs! If you are going through dog trainers reviews to find the best you have found him. As soon as calvin walked through my door he was training. My 6 month old pocket bully was showing signs of resource guarding and she was also very nervous. Within 10 minutes he had my dog listening too every command something i havnt been able to do in 6 months. Looking forward to continuing the training myself using calvins techniques. Kalvin is very professional, informative and have a knowledge about the dogs.

Kalvin was great helping us work with Odin on his over-excitement and fear around strangers, as well as helping with methods of training! It only took a couple of days using the advice given and Odin has picked it up so quickly! We didn't feel judged at all (something that happens often as Rottie owners!) Kalvin's session was to the point and easy to understand - and also very affordable! We are now working on recall and that is going great too - the best part is that Odin seems much more relaxed and content 😊 we highly recommend Domesticated K-9s! Amazing knowledge and understanding of all types of training would highly, highly recommended using Kalvin! Very professional, well spoken and makes a session fun! Only a start for myself and my puppy but I’m glad I took the step and done the right thing by asking for the support of Domesticated K-9s. I have a young puppy what isn’t naughty or doing anything wrong as such but I wanted to make sure that my family puppy would have the right start in life rather than make mistakes in the future. I contacted Kalvin who didn’t just jump to wanting me to have a session booked but spoke me through everything that myself, my young family and also the my pup would benefit from. So I have a puppy Rottweiler cross German shepherd and needed help to get the basics in place. I used Kalvin and so far the process is amazing . He is learning lots and so am I, getting the perfect support and balance with the training. I am able to fit the training into my day now and keep it ongoing, without the help I have received I would still be finding it hard not knowing what to do. Kalvin makes the lesson fun and exciting for dog and owner. No judging me, No making me feel stupid, No making it feel like I have done something wrong.
