Hasn’t kept up to date with canine behavioural science. Dogs are not pack animals and we don’t need to dominate them. Much kinder methods out there from qualified people.

Andrew was great with Maximus. And thankfully he seemed to be willing to grasp what Andrew was expecting of him. As a dachshund and being just a year old, I wanted to fine tune some of Maximus behaviour, especially on walks. It’s Tuesday and we both now walk with purpose to the canal where I then let him sniff and do potty. I am hand feeding shown by Andrew and will incorporate a few more obedient commands … he is still not getting the “leave it” nailed in yet 😯 and he is more clever than I realise so need to add in bigger challengers to make him work and think more. I can’t recommend Andrew enough, he’s professional, friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. We have 2 dogs Dennis & Ernie, both with their individual ‘quirks’. Andrew arrived when he said he would and after talking through the issues that we had ..he trained us to train them. We discussed their diet and what they should be eating to be happy, healthy dogs. He showed us how to deal with Dennis’s reaction to other dogs and Ernie’s recall and walk at heel. He made it look so easy, we put it into practice with Andrews guidance and it worked! I’m amazed that after 1 session with Andrew the dogs are responding positively to us and we feel confident and equipped to continue this reward based training. We’ve had a dog trainer in the past but without much improvement, Andrew achieved more in 4 hours than the 10 months we spent with the previous trainer. I have to be honest, When Andrew said he could help me with Lucy I thought, yeah OK heard that one before. I didnt expect miracles, I didn't expect much to be honest, yet I'm now sat here like the Cheshire cat grinning because for the first time in years I have managed to safely walk my springer. We had an excellent 2 hour session with Andrew for our cockapoo. We had issues with barking and anxiety around bikes when on a walk. We have a 15 month old Cockapoo who since her arrival has completely dominated and destroyed our home we were at a complete loss what to do with her as no matter how much we tried to train her she just wasn’t having it until Andrew arrived a couple of days ago within a few minutes of him arriving, with a whistle, we saw a change in our gorgeous dog. Andrew was amazing talked us through everything, diet, obedience, mental and physical stimulation, we got it and so did our dog wow what a difference in her even in a short time we’ve gone from having a dog that zoomed and chewed everything in site, including furniture, wires, door frames, socks, underwear I could go on forever now she’s a pleasure to be around so much calmer. Andrew spent 2 invaluable hours with myself and Bertie the Cocker Spaniel who was lead pulling, barking at visitors and generally ruling the roost. We had a session with our 1.5 year old cockapoo Penny and immediately saw a difference on Andrew’s arrival and the days that followed. Penny’s main issues are over enthusiasm with visitors, people and dogs out and about, as well as pulling on the lead. It quickly came apparent that Penny thinks she rules the roost and subtle changes that Andrew has suggested have instantly made a difference. Yes we have work to do and training will continue for a long while, but I honestly cannot believe the difference in her in less than a weeks time and she is already a much more relaxed and chilled dog. We had a session with Andrew a week ago now, we have continued with the methods that we were told about and we have seen a huge change in Sully. We honestly didn’t think this would of been possible in such a short time. Our main problems were reactivity and pulling, with him being a German Shepherd this made walks very unenjoyable. Although Sully isn’t 100% there yet, the change we have seen already has given us more confidence and a want to carry on. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge. Andrew came out yesterday to help me with my boy. He was amazing and friendly. Had my boy listening in minutes and showed me the skills needed to desensitise caspers attention to the noise around him and focus on what is more important. Could not recommend enough.

Andrew came today to help with loose lead walking for my pug, Elvis.

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and explained his methods and how the session would go before observing Elvis and I on a walk. He then began the loose lead training and there was a massive improvement by the end of the session with Elvis walking nicely by my side and ignoring passers by and even a balloon blowing past which would would have set him off pulling massively before.

Andrew also went above and beyond and gave us lots of help and advice on mental exercises, feeding and engagement and I am looking forward to having a happier, calmer and more engaged dog as a result!

Andrew came today to give us some guidance on looking after our rescue dog
Rocco is 5 yrs old but as severe issues with my husband not all the time but whenever my husband gets up to move he runs at him or sometimes he will sit staring him out
Andrew spent two hours with us and really advised us on what to do we will be doing the feeding playing and things Andrew told us and hopefully we will feel more content walking past him etc so thank you Andrew we will keep you informed

Andrew came out to help us with our young dog who was out of control on walks, she would spin, bark, yelp, lunge, it was embarrassing! This had really begun to take its toll on family life, nobody wanted the task of walking her. We had stopped enjoying our dog 😔
With our previous dog we enjoyed all the good things in life, beach walks, forest walks, mountain treks, parks etc and we never had to consider whether it would be suitable to take her. A while after losing her we decided to get a puppy so she could then enjoy our busy family life but this was proving to be impossible!
We looked at residential training courses for her but she would need to be away for weeks and it would cost thousands of pounds. After a long search we found Andrew, he replied to my message the very same evening and juggled his busy schedule to fit us in. He arrived in the morning with great energy and enthusiasm for the day ahead and took our dog on the 12 hour bootcamp (best money we ever spent). Andrew assured us that there would be improvement by the time he brought her back in the evening but we were not quite prepared for just how much progress he had made with her!
She bolted out of the front door, pulling wildly on the lead as usual, we said bye, closed the door and prayed for a miracle 😂
When he brought her back she was honestly a totally different dog, she was calm, controlled and so much happier, she had a really waggy tail and had clearly enjoyed her tim with Andrew.
He had kept us updated throughout the day with videos and messages and it was evident really quickly that he was going to be able to 'fix' her.
He spoke to us about what they had been up to throughout the day and taught us how to carry on all the training he had put in place.
It has been a few days now since bootcamp and we have never enjoyed our dog so much, she wants to work for us, she wants to please us, walking her is so pleasurable now whereas it was such a dreaded chore before. We are proud of our dog now and things are only going to improve with the knowledge we have gained from Andrew 🥰
I honestly cannot recommend this guy highly enough, it's obvious how much he loves what he does and it is just second nature to him, a real life miracle worker.

We’ve just had lovely Andrew here with our frenchie Bobby who had absolutely no recall and was constantly picking things up he shouldn’t he also had really poor resource guarding and he would pull terribly on his lead .
Andrew has taught us not only how to work with all of these things he’s taught us so much about the importance of mental stimulation and the best foods to use
Our boy has transformed right before our very eyes
We cannot believe the change in him in just two hours

Andrew visited us today. To help us out with leaving Milo while we go out and walking on the lead. I feel better now I have been advised on what steps to take now to put it all into action

Walking on the lead doing well, being left in crate he has a little cry but settles down doesn't play with his Kong until he comes out off crate. But if my boys go to take a bone off him he goes for them now I need to work on this More...

I would highly recommend Andrew. He came to the house and gave us great advice on food treats etc I was extremely shocked to find out the kibble recommended by our vet was very poor quality and three times the price of most kibble. So we are now trying our 4 dogs on a new better quality kibble. Two out of four dogs would bark at anyone passing us on walks which would then start the other two off. Not enjoyable walking 4 barking dogs. At the session Andrew made great progress with the main culprit out of the 4 dogs. We all thoroughly enjoyed Andrews teaching ie us not the dogs haha and thought his funny personality made the session fun and enjoyable. We have a lot of work to do with the dogs and we are looking forward to enjoying walking all 4 dogs together eventually. And hopefully soon our neighbours won’t have to walk in the opposite direction as soon as they see us out walking 😂😂.

I cannot even begin to tell you how glad we are that we booked a session with Andrew. Our pup is 7 months and for the last 4 months we have struggled so much with his pulling and anxiety on walks around cars/main roads. We had spent a small fortune on treats, harnesses, other training etc and nothing had worked. It was hard to enjoy a walk at all and it was upsetting to see him so nervous all the time. Andrew spent time getting to know Arnie and his routines, habits, food etc and went for a walk with us. His tips and tricks have literally transformed our walks already. Our pup is already more confident, comfortable and noticeably more obedient as already his advice has strengthened our bond. We booked Andrew to come and help with our 9 year old male Cockapoo Harvey who has a few different issues. These range from barking at anyone passing the house, problems with the letterbox snd shredding anything that comes through it that isn’t intercepted in time, resource guarding and displaying anxiety with anyone new coming to or leaving the house. So for us a varied range of issues that we’d not been able to resolve or make any progress with. From the outset Andrew asked about Harvey’s routines , feeding habits and what issues we had with him. He took the time to get to know Harvey and gave us lots of sound straightforward advice and practical help to assist us in resolving these issues. It’s certainly a work in progress as some of these things have been deep rooted for so long. But so far we have seen improvement, we just need to continue the process. Andrew is a true gent. He has such a big heart and it shows in his commitment to the dogs he gets to work with and their owners. I couldn’t fault him at all. I thought all was lost with our rescue but he managed to get her attention, keep her focussed and she actually listened. Still a long way to go but it completely floored me what he had achieved in such a short space of time. And not only that the after care is second to none. We had a 2 hour session this morning with Andrew for our dog Koda. Koda pulls a lot on the lead and is very vocal and demanding while at home. Andrew has given us great training techniques to use to help improve Koda's bad habits and ours too. The difference in our boy this morning was unbelievable, he was like a different dog. Andrew came to work with our 2 doggies last weekend. A puppy aged 14 weeks and her big brother aged 2 and half. Big brother needed to learn to give our guests a more polite welcome and walk nicely on a lead and not react to other dogs and people. We didn't want the puppy picking up bad habits, and also asked for help with separation anxiety. 3 hours with Andrew and there was a marked difference. Andrew came and spent some time with Marley the other week, Marley has been through a lot he doesn’t take to people and has bad separation anxiety and won’t settle with anyone other than me Andrew was really patient and with time managed to win Marley round. He explained to me why Marley was the way he was and gave me the knowledge to help him moving forward and showed me what to do. I am already noticing a massive difference with his behaviour and listening to me I can now get out of the door without him freaking out which is huge and I know with time he’ll be better which I cannot thank Andrew enough for! Absolutely blown away by the recent training session with Andrew! From the moment we contacted Andrew he was quick to respond, helpful and informative. We explained the issues we were facing with our puppy, Boaz, and Andrew reassured us that he would be able to help. Once we had booked our session, we were kept up to date and reminders were sent of the session. On the day of the session, Andrew actually arrived slightly early and got straight to work, building a bond with Boaz and we were amazed that even in the first 10 minutes we saw a difference in him! When we went out for a walk and the main part of the session, I think Andrew had a shock at just how much work was needed for Boaz with lead walking but this didn’t deter him and he was able to give lots of advice to help. By the end of the session we saw a big difference in the lead walking and had lots of tips to help us going forward with lead walking and other areas. We would highly recommend Andrew, he certainly knows his stuff! It is clear that he has a genuine love for dogs and desire to help them and us owners to get the best out of them! BEWARE!!!!! This man Mr Andrew Heany was booked for a dog training session. Mr Heany was paid £90 for a 3 hour home visit. He text to say he was not well. When the client tried to get in touch as her young Son had an accident and ended up having surgery at Alder Hey. The only form of communication was email. As Mr Heaney's dog training Facebook page and phone number were unattainable to the client. As there is so many scams out there, she got worried (understandable). Since asking for a refund of the £90 she paid. Being a Mum of two young children she can ill afford to lose that kind of money. She has been subjected to childish and extremely rude responses. Mr Heany's latest reponse is now saying she is harassing him for the £90. He is threatening her with libel action. It seems he is trying to bully his way out of the situation. In hindsight credentials should of been checked. As none can be found. The appropriate authorities have been contacted. The fact Mr Heaney has gone about this in such an unprofessional way speaks volumes about him as a person. If eventually the £90 is refunded. This has been such a stressful experience for the client. We had a brilliant 3 hours with Andrew with our 9 week old puppy who can’t be left alone without a melt down! He took us through the reasons behind it and how to manage it with mental stimulation and structured play. We fired questions at him for hours and he was able to answer everything we needed.
