Tracey came to visit us for a few hours at home today to work with our little cockapoo Teddy. We are having major issues with him barking and growling towards the postman who he did nip a few weeks ago. There are a few other issues mainly because Teddy is in charge of us. I didn’t realise how in control he was from simply waking into the house first, jumping on sofa when he hasn’t been asked to, begging for food and telling us when he wants to play. We have been given some brilliant but simple things we beed to do and change. Tracey came on a walk with us and showed us how he should be walking and gave us some tips allowing us to try them out while she watched. Feel a lot happier now we know what to do. It will work if we keep at it. Definitely recommend easy to talk to and didn’t feel patronised at all as Tracey listened to us. Today she helped our dog, who is very impulsive and tries to attack all dogs he meets, to walk side by side with her dog in a large Park where there were lots of other dogs. We are so grateful. What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy working with both dogs and people. I find it extremely rewarding to help owners understand their pets better, to establish the best possible bond between dog and owner by removing misunderstandings and behavioural frustrations and to ensure that the dogs I have worked with and their owners have a positive relationship.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always worked with people in customer facing roles and really enjoy helping people. I have a long history with rescue dogs going back 25+ years. I have always enjoyed training these dogs in my free time but I began to consider doing this as a career after inheriting a challenging Jack Russell puppy in 2013. This inspired me to undertake formal training with Glen Stanford (UK Dog Whisperer) with whom I successfully completed all 3 levels of the Dog Psychology Course.

I am a people person who has a natural affinity with both dogs and people. I pride myself on being honest and straightforward; I use no gimmicks or tricks in my training, just an understanding of dog psychology and have an ability to share this respectfully with my clients.
