I am so happy with the service Gerard and Christine offer. My springer spaniel Finwe has separation anxiety and it was such a relief to find someone who was sympathetic, allowing her to sleep wherever she wants(! ), and who will also never leave her on her own. We couldn’t be happier with our service at Dog Sit and Stay! We’ve used the service for over 2 years and feel 100% confident that our dog is well loved, looked after and cared for. For us Dog Sit & Stay is not just our dog sitting service, it is an extended part of our dogs family with other dogs that attend and the people who look after him! They are also our ‘dog guru’ and somewhere even on our dogs days off we can text/ring to ask for help or advice. Although Sit and Stay look after dogs Irecently asked would they be willing to come in everyday to feed my cats and chickens whilst I was on holiday. I cannot thank Gerard enough for the detailed daily reports and how he managed everything. It can be tricky when you got cats with health issues and special diets. Freddie has stayed with Gerard and Christina twice. He is a small Romanian rescue dog with wonky front legs which mean he cannot walk huge distances. I was worried this would bar him from having his holidays at Dog Sit and Stay, not one bit, Gerard carries him when he is tired. This means the world to me, as I know he's treated as he would be at home, with love and feeling. I cannot recommend Gerard and Christina enough, and look forward to seeing them next time Freddie needs a sleepover. More...

Well after spending 10 days with Christina and gerard at dog sit and stay he's well and truly pooped! We got married and had our honeymoon knowing he was well taken care of. They even bought him to the church for a photo! If your after an alternative to kennels these guys treated otis like there own and it truly was home from home. Our lovely Old tyme Bulldog Stella, had a long weekend with Gerard & Christina. I cannot thank them enough for looking so well after her.
She absolutely adores them, they treat the dog guests like their own dogs. It's like a 5 star hotel for dogs, because really is better then a home away from home. They plan the day so well that the dogs are never bored, they have great fun.
Let's not talk about the lovely homemade treats. You know your dog loves it when you arrive to pick them up, they greet you and go straight back to play. Now we can go on holidays knowing that Stella also loves holiday with Gerard & Christina . We won't trust anyone else to look after her. Thank you guys

My 2 girls have spent 10 days with Gerrard and Christine and I had no worries about their care whilst I was away. Lots of regular photo updates received seeing them happy put my mind at rest. They had lots of varied walks and our one dog with an allergy was given medication and treated by Gerrard as we would at home. Great introduction session took place before we went away to ensure they would cope in a strange environment which is a nice touch when choosing where to leave your babies. Gerard and Christina are amazing. When Stella stays with them she has a brilliant time and more importantly we don't worry about her as we know she is going to be so well looked after. She is treated as part of the family which we love! Gerard even takes the time to send pictures and videos of what she has been doing, it's her own little doggie holiday!!! We really would recommend them, they do a fantastic job and we feel secure leaving Stella in their care, after all she is our fur baby.. We have already booked her in for next year when we go away to get married. I would not use anyone else and cannot recommend them enough. We have been using 'Dog Sit and Stay' services since our Cockapoo was a small puppy! The service we receive is fabulous! Not only is it clear that they care for the dogs, their advice has also been so valuable. As new puppy owners they have advised us about lots of things including food and training. Everything they do is for the good of the dogs! Our dog is now a very confident puppy with all breeds and sizes of dogs and we put this down to socialising him with dogs at 'Dog Sit and Stay!' We know our cockapoo is very well looked after whilst in their care and he is so happy to see them when we drop him off! What inspired you to start your own business?
Having found it difficult to find a dog career that we was committed to our dogs well being and our specific needs, together with requests form friends and relatives to look after their dogs while they were on holiday we found that there was a need for high quality home from home daycare, boarding and walking services tailored to the owners requirements. So we decided to provide such a service that provided a Boarding, daycare and walking service.
