I have been DJing for over 20 years and play a very wide range of music from 60's through the decades to modern club music. I can play a night of one style or mix across a wide range to please everyone in a mixed age-group crowd.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Listening to the requests that come in and watching the crowd like a hawk to see what people react to and what they don't. From a subtle foot tap to a scream of joy for their favourite song, each person reacts differently to their music and you have to be aware of that and spot it. It also depends a lot on planning the night too so you can move between music styles smoothly and make sure the dance floor remains fluid and the atmosphere huge throughout the night.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I treat my whole approach like a portable club, I want it to be more than just a DJ in the corner of the room, I want to get the whole room up and dancing and for people to remember the night for a long time because the music and atmosphere were just right. I make sure my sound system is tuned well enough, that my lights provide a good show to go with the music and that I keep the music to everyones taste to create the best atmosphere possible. I mix, beat match and scratch too so my decks are like an instrument to me which I pride myself on my ability to play.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see people happy. The night I provide lifts people out of the workaday world and gives them a boost through the music. My personal love is the music itself any kind as long as it creates a feeling. When I get the mix exactly right and play my decks perfectly that gives a buzz that is pretty unbeatable. Then when the organiser is really happy with their night it is a superb acknowledgement and that makes me happy too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to take my show on the road and play to more different people whilst continuing to create and expand my show itself.
Why should our clients choose you?
I listen to the client and tailor the night around them. everybody wants their own party and knows what they want it to be like. I am very good at listening and really understanding what is needed and wanted and then just going ahead and delivering it.
