Mel DJ'd for our wedding party. From the moment we made contact it was obvious how professional Mel was. She responded immediately, gave us full details and once booked she popped round to interview us to discuss music requirements and what could be played and what shouldn't be played. She had all the equipment, with a great sound and light system. Then most importantly of all, on the night, her set was flawless. For the whole evening we were up and dancing with only the odd break to grab a drink! Our guests were all partied out by the end of the evening and all commented on what an amazing night it had been. What I love about Mel is that she just plays the music everyone wants to hear - classic party tunes from the 80s,90s and 00s. There is never a night where Mel is hosting that I don't want to rock out on the dance floor. She also hosted a charity event I organised in 2015 - Teenage Rocks and went down a storm. We booked Mel for our JT staff party in November 2016. Mel was an excellent DJ! Not only did she take the time to ask all the right questions, she planned our background music taking in to account what our live band was going to play, avoiding any duplication. She also kept the dance floor packed all night during her 3 hour set - making announcements as requested and being loveley and happy the entire night. How would you describe your ‘style’?
I can turn my hand to any thing I've played nightclubs and 70's parties I just want people to have a good time.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people and making a special event for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I supported Katherine Jenkins in Jersey and after that my DJ Bookings went through the roof! The rest they say is history!

I make sure I am available to liaise with the client before the event and provide everything I can to make it a special night for everyone. I also work alongside the event or production company to provide my technical specifications where needed.
