Jeff did a fantastic job DJing at my husband's Peaky Blinders themed 40th birthday party. From his very first communication with me to our farewell on the evening, Jeff was professional, friendly and very accommodating. He happily dressed up as a Peaky Blinder to fit in with the event! The music was brilliant and he skilfully and seamlessly mixed a range of genres and eras, making the music fit everyone's tastes. His lighting was great and it really added to the atmosphere. Many of our guests said how great Jeff was and wanted his details so they could hire him for their own parties. Fab job! More...

I didn't really know what I wanted but he pieced together everything i told him and put together an evening that made our day perfect.

We booked DJ Jeff House for our wedding reception and he was just great. We weren’t sure we even wanted a DJ but we heard Jeff at another gig and then booked him straight away - he just played so many great records that we loved. On the big day we had a lot of different age ranges and he some how managed to keep everyone dancing right through. The sound system sounded great and nice lighting too. Jeff even helped set up my son's guitar and a microphone for an impromtu performance and handled master of ceremonies duties on the mic for us too. More...

Jeff was the DJ for my son's Barmitzvah, and was absolutely brilliant. Right from the first contact he was friendly, relaxed and accommodating, He met us a few weeks before the event at the venue and was great on ideas for the party and connected really well with my son, who thought it was really cool to have a DJ who'd worked with Phil Oakey! On the night Jeff was lovely to have around (lots of positive comments from guests - "where did you get that lovely DJ?") and managed the task of catering for musical tastes of all ages between 6 and 90, getting everyone on the dance floor. After being a long-time fan of Jeff's from his days playing Blessed at Republic, I was really pleased to find that he was still spinning when I went looking for a DJ for my wedding reception. I was even happier when he agreed to drive all the way up to Derbyshire to play for us. Along with the oldskool classics that we remembered Jeff for, he was also able to dig out some freestyle and house tunes to entertain some of our guest who were in from Chicago. He did a great job of reading the crowd and kept us dancing without having to fall back on anything too cheesy. He even conspired with my best man to surprise me with a couple of my own tracks. Thank you SO much for making our wedding a night to remember. We wanted people dancing all night, and that’s exactly what we got.
We have so many experiences of weddings and events where the music peaks and troughs from good music - to downright awful, and we wanted to ensure we had no let up all night. You put us at complete ease from the minute we met, and we knew you were on the same page. We had so much fun dancing the night away on the best day of our lives, and everyone commented of how good the DJ was. The venue even said you were the best they had ever heard, and I agree!! Working in the job that I do, it was important to me that everything was perfect - and you helped us go beyond that. Absolute legend!

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The right track at the right time - get that one correct and you'll have any event rocking. Plus read the crowd and always listen to what they want. As a DJ you should never forget that it's the client's party not yours.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I always keep things moving by staying in tempo and on time. I'm happy to switch genres at a moments notice but the beats always flow from one tune to next meaning the dance floor energy never drops. Whatever the style of music you're playing a dance floor is about shared energy, maintaining a groove and the feeling everyone is going somewhere together - that's how I play any dance floor.
What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy, simple as that. If people are enjoying themselves, so am I. DJing is just about giving people a great night out and that's as fun for me as it is for everyone else.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I just love DJing and it's a blessing and a pleasure to make people happy and be able to make a living out of it
