I can’t believe you have the audacity to reply to this message after I have spoken to you today on the phone coming to an agreement to pay me half back EVEN though my roof is still leaking from the same spot before you were hired and doing the blame game on your nephew and who ever Gary is. Ask to fix my roof where it was leaking they came said needed a new roof charged over £400 and guess what still leaking now, came back for a temp cover said your roof is still under warranty we will come back, I have tried ringing and texting James prentice many times and no response simply took the money and ran. Will not recommend this company to anyone and will be processing a claim through small claims court. More...

Very fast response, friendly and helpful.

James and Gary did some roof repairs for us, sealing the chimney stack and replacing broken tiles. We were really impressed with them from start to finish. Came out same day to quote and the work was completed two working days later. They went to a lot of trouble to get matching tiles and the work was neat and professional. I honestly can't recommend these guys enough.
After years and years of having different roofers, and paying for jobs that didn't need doing to my salon flat roof. ... I was really dubious.
These guys came the very next day, took videos and pictures to physically SHOW me where the problem was (which was something completely different to what I'd been previously told and paid for). James is so knowledgeable, and so thorough. Within a short space of time, I had full trust and knew that my roofing problem was very soon.... FINALLY going to be over! I'm so ridiculously happy! Where do I start with these lads I phoned up coz I had a leak on me roof they come out lovely lads very cheeky but a great sense of humour give me a free quote which was a very good price 2 weeks later they give me a date an time an true the word they was their at me door sorted the job an what a job they done excellent workman ship an I would highly recommend Dixon’s u won’t b dissapointed thanx lads

They are the worst firm I have ever dealt with. I agreed what I thought was their high price for stopping some leaks in a small area of flat roof and a GRP-lined gully. They started work on the bit of flat roof and then said they would need to increase their price to more than double. They said that they had worked on the gully but, after a spell of rain, it was clear they had not. When I complained, they reduced their invoice and said they would return to put things right. My bank refused to transfer funds to them: I guess they have a history of rogue trading. I had to find another way of paying them and - guess what - they did not come back to complete the work. They claimed to be members of the TrustedTrader scheme; if this is true the scheme is worthless. And I shall not be clicking on Bark again while it harbours firms like them on its site. More...

Started a job for this man when the job was done he had no money to pay for the job when you pay the rest of the money we come back we gave him a week to pay he send me a check the came back as unpaid the bank said he had no money in his account the job was for £6500 but i only got £1450 off him 3 weeks after the job was done he still own £5050 i am taking this man to court to get the money he own to us now he puting review on my page try to run me down i wish i never done the job for this man as im out of money doin his roof so William i see you in court mate...

Perfectly done, the team was polite, friendly , quick and very thorough . They were the only roofing team that got back to me promptly and solved my issue there and then . They were really nice and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, and took a video detailing the issues, and explained in simple easy to understand terms how they would fix it and what we were being charged for materials and labour .
