My partner and I used Devon Flicks to have some portrait photos taken. Paul was extremely professional and showed great patience in the manner in which he conducted the studio session and gave good advice on the best poses to adopt for each shot.
Paul was quick to email samples of the photos for us to make our choices. He used an outside print company to produce the finished product but was not happy with the quality and so found another which produced photos that we are both delighted with. Throughout the whole process Paul kept us informed of the progress.
We are delighted with the quality of the service that we received from Paul and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Paul Westwood is extremely professional and kind. I have enjoyed working with him twice now; once for a short film and once for a photo shoot. He puts artists at ease, treats us fairly and pays quickly. Always a pleasure to work with him. More...

Q&As

I love it when a customer is pleased with the results. I love being creative, no two photo shoots are the same. You also meet very interesting and talented people. Some of the people I work with I strike lasting friendships. There's the knowledge that the products I produce could last for ever, and knowing that I produced it, gives me a feeling of satisfaction.

Film and Photography was an old ambition introduced to me by a school friend, but was inspired to become a professional photographer and film maker after filming a relatives wedding. While gaining qualifications I became more inspired through university.

It is simply a question of choice. I specialise in studio portraiture, using multiple lighting units. I model the lights to create classic lighting setups like, Rembrandt and Butterfly lighting to give depth and form to my subjects face. The lighting helps to bring out expression and personality. This can be said for both film and photography.
